Ego smiled, knowing that Grandmaster had been affected. He said, "Not much, even the Great Devourer will find it difficult to swallow a large number of planets in a short time, let alone me. I simply want to reproduce."
In truth, there were countless planets that Ego wanted to consume, and his years of preparation were not in vain.
However, Grandmaster was unaware of this. He clenched his teeth and stated, "Just carry out your plan. I must win this game and the Blood God must die."
"Very good, Grandmaster. You will win and the Blood God will surely meet his end because I am on your side," Ego confirmed with satisfaction. He didn't give the Blood God a second thought. This was normal, considering he had lived for millions of years, while the Blood God was still in his early twenties and therefore no comparison could be made.
Grandmaster asked, "That's great. I'll bring some things to your planet now. Uh, which star domain is your planet in currently?"
"It's on the way to the Milky Way," Ego replied, giving the coordinates. Grandmaster nodded and disappeared.
"The time has finally come. Peter, my son, you will join me in achieving greatness," Ego exclaimed with wild laughter. "It won't be long before I am the universe and the universe is me."
...
The next morning, Peter, who was feeling down, took Gamora and the others to the Star Harbor where Ego was located. Gamora glanced at him and asked, "What's wrong, feeling listless?"
"I woke up this morning feeling groggy and had a really strange dream," Peter said with a confused expression.
"I dreamed that Yondu and I were in a talking car and he called me 'son.' How could I be called Yondu's son? There's no way. You know he's always wanted to eat me. Is it possible that I have some strange fetish?"
Drax looked puzzled and asked, "Isn't Yondu your father?"
"Different skin color, okay?" Peter said with frustration. "I already said it yesterday, I won't say it again."
Gamora smiled and suggested, "Perhaps, in your heart, you have always seen Yondu as a father."
"Just kidding," Peter replied, snorting. "How could I ever see Yondu as a father? If it wasn't for him, I would have been reunited with Ego long ago."
"When I get the chance, I will seek my revenge on that guy," Peter stated firmly.
Ego stood outside the spaceship and declared loudly, "Yondu will be punished. He separated us, father and son, for decades."
"Ego," Peter said a little awkwardly.
"Son, let's go inside and talk. I have something important to tell you." Ego came over and put his arm around Peter's shoulder, leading him inside. Gamora and the others followed, and Mantis prepared refreshments to entertain them.
Drax was taken aback when he saw Mantis, and said, "Wow, you're so ugly. No wonder you don't go out, you'll scare people if you do."
"Drax," Gamora said, clearly displeased. "I'm sorry, there's something wrong with his head."
"You're the one with the problem, otherwise how could you fall in love with that fool Quill?" Drax retorted.
Gamora was so angry she wanted to stab Drax with her dagger a few times, and Peter also glared at Drax in dissatisfaction. How foolish.
Mantis didn't mind Drax's comment about her appearance, and even apologized timidly, "I'm sorry, I scared you. I've never left Ego's planet before, so I don't know how scary I look to others."
Mantis grew up alone on Ego's planet and had never had any contact with outsiders.
"You're not ugly, don't listen to that jerk," Gamora said. Ego laughed and said, "Quill, your friends are quite lively. Come, sit down, and let's have a good chat."
Everyone sat down one by one, and after a few polite words, Rocket couldn't help but ask, "What exactly are you?"
Peter angrily glared, "Rocket!"
"It doesn't matter. My true identity may surprise you," replied Ego.
Ego activated a holographic projection, revealing a brain on the screen. "This is me at the beginning. Later, I learned to control the molecules around me. Then, I built layer by layer until I finally created a planet," he explained.
Everyone was stunned as they gazed at the red planet with a human face on the screen. Peter said incredulously, "Wait, are you a planet?"
Rocket exclaimed, "Wow, Peter! Your father is really a ball or an oversized ball."
Drax asked curiously, "Wait a minute. How does a planet have offspring with a woman on Earth? Can you demonstrate the specific process? I"m very curious."
Peter yelled, "Drax!"
Ego explained, "Women from the planet and Earth cannot have offspring, but I created a new body for myself, which is now me."
"Peter, you are my descendant and possess the power of a celestial. I will teach you how to use its power," said Ego.
Peter eagerly asked, "Can I become as strong as you too?" He had longed to overcome his weak status.
Ego laughed, "Of course, you can! You are the son of a Celestial."
Excitedly, Peter asked, "Great! Now, who dares to say I'm a low-level creature in front of that group of arrogant bastards?"
Ego replied angrily, "How can mortals insult you? Peter, do you want me to teach them a lesson?"
Gamora frowned and glanced at Ego. She knew that he had a problem.
Peter didn't notice that something was amiss and waved his hand, saying, "It's not necessary. When I become as strong as you, they will naturally kneel down to me, just like they surrendered to the Blood God."
Curious, Peter asked, "Ego, are you stronger or is Blood God stronger?"
"God is invincible," Ego replied confidently.
Rocket sneered, "Dude, don't brag too much. You can't even beat Blood God's apprentice. Carol is scary, but the Blood God is even more terrifying."
Everyone nodded in agreement, as they were all aware of Blood God's immense strength.
Ego continued, "I'm just a clone now, but my body is many times stronger than my clone." He then said proudly, "Peter, you stay here in the spaceship, and I will teach you how to use your powers."
Peter was deeply moved and, after a moment of hesitation, agreed. Gamora didn't stop him, as she knew that Ego had another purpose and wouldn't easily kill Peter.
"A planet?" Bert, Carol, and Yondu were all very surprised upon hearing Gamora's report. Of course, Bert was disguised.
Yondu said in surprise, "So that planet is Ego's body? God, it's as big as the moon of your Earth."
Bert replied, "Big doesn't mean strong. Our next step is to find that planet and destroy it."
Yondu asked, "The strategy is correct, but can you really destroy a planet, Blood God?"
Bert simply answered, "You'll see."
Bert then said, "Carol, let everyone be on high alert. Ego and the Elders of the universe are definitely connected, and their attack may come soon."
"Understood," Carol responded. She added, "Master, when dealing with Ego, I must come with you. That scum who kills even his own offspring doesn't deserve to live."
Bert smiled and said, "Don't worry, I'll definitely take you with me."
More than half a month went by in the blink of an eye. Inside Ego's spaceship, Peter controlled the light powers to dance in the sky and then took Gamora's hand, saying, "Isn't it beautiful? I've been practicing hard just to show you this scene."
Even though he was now the son of a Celestial, Peter still had not changed his stubbornness, thinking about picking up girls all day.
Gamora said, "You know what? I really want to beat you right now."
Peter responded, "That won't do." He quickly changed the subject, "Ego's planet has reached the Milky Way and he wants to invite us there as guests."
Gamora's eyes lit up as she pretended to hesitate and said, "We still have to guard Sovereign Star, and there's still half a month until the March period."
Peter proudly replied, "With Ego's body there, Sovereign will be fine. Ego is very powerful, I don't think even Blood God can match him."
Gamora was speechless. Peter seemed to be floating a little, and she nodded, saying, "In that case, let's go."
Peter happily said, "Great! Ego said he will never let us down,"
"Hope so," replied Gamora.
Gamora's eyes flashed, and she wondered to herself, 'What does Ego have planned for Peter?'
Three days later, Ego, Mantis, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Thor set off for the Star of Ego.
"Why is Thor following?" Gamora asked.
Ego looked at the spaceship behind him and frowned slightly. "Blood God has sent people to watch us, which is to be expected," he thought. 'But why Thor?'
'Thor lacks intelligence. There is no reason for him to be involved in this investigation,'
Ego wondered. He thought for a moment, told Grandmaster about it, and then asked, "How are you hiding? If the Blood God discovers us in advance, it will impact our plan."
"Don't worry," Grandmaster reassured him. "We're underground, and they won't find us. In three days, everything will be in place, and it will be the end for both Blood God and the Sovereign Star."
Ego smiled and said, "I hope the real body of Blood God is also there, or I'll have to go to Hell and face trouble."
"Blood God's body is still trapped in Hell," Grandmaster stated, "but my intuition tells me that he has a way of returning."
"That doesn't matter," Grandmaster added confidently. "Even if he does come back, this time he'll be dead."
"Of course," Ego agreed. "This is our home court."
Ego smiled, thinking that once his plan was completed, he would be brave enough to fight not only the Blood God, but even the Elder Gods.
After half a day, everyone arrived at the picturesque Planet of Ego, which was as beautiful as heaven and had four seasons like spring. Peter and the others were amazed by the beauty around them.
"This planet is my body," Ego said with a smile. "I can control and transform it at any time, Peter. I'll teach you how to change it however you like."
"I like this ability," Peter said with a laugh.
Everyone then followed Ego to his palace. Thor looked around and nodded, "It's not as good as Asgard, but it's not bad,"
Everyone glanced at Thor silently, thinking how he had managed to avoid getting beaten to death.
"I've also been to Asgard. It's really splendid, but it lacks some greenery. After living there for a long time, people might start to feel uncomfortable." Ego laughed, confident that Thor was not a spy sent by the Blood God, since no one would use someone as stupid as Thor as a spy.
Ego's thoughts were right, Blood God did send a spy, the real spy of the Blood God had already come to the Planet of Ego, and that spy was none other than Blood God himself.
'The scenery here is really beautiful, but the artificial elements are too prevalent, taking away from the natural beauty of the star,' Bert said to himself as he flew forward.
Bert noticed that Ego has eyes on the whole planet, such as plants and small animals, but didn't detect him at all, as he was in the mirror space.
It didn't take long for Bert to find the projection of Grandmaster in an underground cave that was hundreds of meters deep. This wasn't surprising, as Bert had done something to Grandmaster during the Battle of Hell. This move was called the space marker, and it was also used on Dark Elf leader and Mephisto, who have since passed away.
At that moment, Grandmaster was communicating with Ego and said triumphantly, "Don't worry, Blood God's spies won't be able to find me. I've not only set up a hidden magic circle, but I've also borrowed a treasure from Obliterator that can hide my presence. No one will be able to locate me."
Ego responded, "That's good. Finish the rest as soon as you can, and in three days, we'll launch."
Grandmaster replied, "No problem. I won't disturb your parent-child time." He then put down the communicator and walked forward to where nine huge altars were standing, each of which was adorned with a large number of runes.
It's worth mentioning that these nine altars were unique. Five of them were filled with demonic energy, and the demonic runes were prominent. They were clearly not good things.
The middle altar was full of holy light, and the beautiful angel-wrapped altars were surrounded by a large number of runes. These altars were likely related to heaven.
A little behind the altar, there is a dense collection of dragon designs, including Eastern Divine Dragon, Western Lizard Dragon, Fire Dragon, Ice Dragon, Thunder Dragon, and more. If you guess correctly, it should be related to the dimensions of Dragons.
The last two altars were shrouded in a dark fog, making it impossible to see what they looked like. However, this gave people a very frightening feeling, as if the end was near.
"Altars? Angel, dragons, demons?" Bert frowned. To activate these altars, sacrifices were often required, which meant blood and souls.
'Elders of the Universe, you wouldn't go this low, would you?' Bert vaguely guessed the plan of the Elders of the Universe and murderous intent appeared in his eyes. If the Elders of the Universe did carry out this plan, Bert would never let them go.
The proud Grandmaster was unaware that he was being targeted by Bert. He picked up his tools and carefully constructed the runes on the altar. This was a delicate task, and even a small mistake could cause the altar to change dramatically.
The difference is as far as a thousand miles.
