"Seriously, this is unbelievable!" Eric Silverig felt like he had never seen anything so absurd in his life.
"Allow me to introduce Miss Sif and the Three Warriors of Asgard," Thor said as he embraced the warriors and introduced them to Eric Silverig.
"Friends, it's truly great to see you," Thor said after the introduction, placing his hand on Hogan's shoulder. "But you shouldn't have come."
Upon hearing Thor's words, the group from Asgard was puzzled. Fandral spoke up, "We came to bring you back home."
"But you know I can't go back," Thor said. "My father died because of me, and I must remain in exile."
"Thor, your father is still alive," Lady Sif said.
The scene shifted, showing Phil Coulson in a black suit and sunglasses, crouched on the ground examining a peculiar pattern.
"What is that?" Tony Stark couldn't help but ask. "Thor, when you arrived in New Mexico and were struck by lightning, well, there seemed to be a similar pattern on the ground."
"That is the mark left by the Bifrost Bridge," Thor explained. "What Coulson is seeing now is the residue left by Lady Sif and the Three Warriors of Asgard when they traveled to Earth through the Bifrost Bridge."
"Get someone from the language department over here," the video's Phil Coulson said, not knowing what it was, surrounded by a group of people studying it.
Just then, the sky began to fill with dark clouds, forming a massive vortex that blocked out the sun. The ground started to shake, and even the vehicles parked on the ground began to sway.
The scene resembled the eve of doomsday as portrayed in some sci-fi movies.
Thor, who had just reunited with his old friends, naturally noticed the anomaly in the sky and rushed out of the room.
The vortex in the sky grew larger and lower, resembling a funnel that elongated until it reached the ground. With a loud bang, as if something had crashed onto the ground, the vortex's bottom extended to the surface.
"Are there more people coming?" Daisy Johnson asked.
After the dust settled on the ground, a towering, black, robot-like destroyer appeared in everyone's sight.
"Is that thing created by Stark?" Jasper Sitwell, who was seemingly an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. but was actually a member of Hydra, asked.
"I don't know. That guy never tells me anything," Phil Coulson said as he grabbed a megaphone and shouted at the destroyer, "Hello, your weapons and equipment are not registered. Identify yourself."
The destroyer didn't respond. A large hole appeared on its face, while its abdomen became heated, as if a scorching magma was crawling from its belly toward its chest.
"The weapon is indeed modeled after the destroyer," Tony Stark said as he observed the scene. When Phil Coulson faced Loki, he held a peculiar-looking gun that resembled the destroyer's abdomen. The changes in the gun barrel during its energy charge were strikingly similar to the changes in the destroyer's abdomen.
At a glance, one could tell that it was undoubtedly inspired by the destroyer, as their aesthetic styles were remarkably similar.
Although the weapon's power was not displayed at the time, now, watching the colossal body of the destroyer in the video and the magma-like energy gradually moving toward its head, even those who had never seen a destroyer before knew that an attack was imminent.
"Attack!" Phil Coulson shouted, quickly evading to another location along with other agents.
Whoosh!
A golden beam of energy shot out from the Destroyer's face, causing chaos as people were thrown and flipped.
"Jane, you have to leave here," Thor said with a serious expression to Jane Foster.
"And what about you?" Jane Foster asked.
"I have to stay here." Even though he no longer possessed his godly powers and his hammer, facing this earth-shattering Destroyer, Thor had no intention of backing down.
"Thor will join us on the battlefield," Volstagg said, appearing somewhat excited.
"Everyone, I am just a mortal now. I will be a liability and may even get you killed," Thor remained relatively calm at this moment. He walked to the center of the Three Warriors of Asgard and said, "But I can assist you in evacuating people to safety."
"If you're staying here, then I'm not leaving either," Jane Foster stood by Thor's side.
"Give me some time," Thor said to the Three Warriors.
"Go ahead," Fandral replied.
Thor, Jane Foster, Daisy Johnson, and Eric Silverig then went to evacuate civilians.
At this time, the Destroyer also entered the town, behaving like a complete villain, constantly firing beams of energy that demolished the surrounding buildings.
People screamed and scattered in fear, while Sif and the Three Warriors of Asgard steadily approached the Destroyer.
"First, let's distract its attention," Sif suggested as she approached the Destroyer with her sword raised. They immediately split up and went in different directions.
Whoosh!
The Destroyer shot an energy beam from its face, hitting a nearby gas station. Accompanied by a violent explosion, a raging fire engulfed the area.
And the Destroyer walked through this inferno, step by step, exuding an aura of killing intent.
"Thor, even now, do you still want to say something for Loki?" Phil Coulson said with some annoyance. "Loki specifically targeted you and wreaked havoc on Earth without any regard for human lives! With such disregard for life, what right does he have to be a king?"
"I apologize on Loki's behalf," Thor said sorrowfully. "I promise you all that I will stop Loki and prevent the events shown in the video from happening!"
As the Destroyer emerged from the fire, the Three Warriors of Asgard were already waiting for it.
Volstagg charged at the Destroyer with his axe, but with a casual wave, the Destroyer effortlessly swatted him away like swatting a fly. Volstagg flew backward and crashed into a car with a loud crash.
As brave as he was when he went, he looked equally disheveled when he returned.
The Destroyer walked step by step towards Volstagg. Looking at its mountainous body, Volstagg wanted to escape, but the previous strike had rendered him unable to get up.
