Chapitre 25: The Realization
"Brother...." Sun turned to see Thor looking up at him, There was slight hope "You can take me back to Asgard?"
Sun shook his head, "No, Father has had you banned for a reason, Thor." he said, "you must prove yourself to be worthy before you can return."
"I am worthy..."
"Being Worthy does not mean strength and will for battle Thor," Sun said," as a lot of things, father has brought you down here to teach you some humility."
Thor sighed, "Aye, I understand now, I am sorry Sun..."
"The big Oaf is apologizing.....There is something you don't see every day." a familiar voice said causing us to turn and see that it was Loki dressed in a black tuxedo. Sun gazed at Loki and nodded his head to them, Loki nodded back and smiled, before returning his attention back to Thor.
Loki is slightly different than both MCU and comics, although he still has his superiority complex to the mortals and still has his mischievous prankster side,, he is slightly...nicer.
"Loki!" Thor rushed towards Loki and rushed to give him a bear hug, only for him to go straight through Thor looked up in confusion, before glancing at his brothers, he spotted Loki next to Sun looking at him with an amused look.
"As much as I would love to stay here I can't. " Loki replied, "I have come to bring important news, that Father has fallen into Odin-sleep."
"Loki." Sun said gazing at him with an impressed look, 'he didn't say that Odin is dead, so that is a good sign for him at least. Loki gave Sun a look of acknowledgment before glancing back at Thor
"The people chose Sun, But Sun chose me." Loki glanced at Sun who nodded his head, before glancing at Thor, "Sun gave me the burden of the throne, so I am now the current ruler of Asgard." Thor looked hopeful, he knows Sun said no, but he could at least try since Loki is king regent as his father rests. "Can I come home?" he asked.
Loki looked at Thor with a shake of his head, "I cannot go above all father's last wish." Your fight with the frost giants have broken the truce Asgard had with Jotunheimen," he paused for a moment before continuing, "Father had a reason for banishing, as the sun had said, you cannot return until proven worthy."
"But couldn't we find a way to..." Thor had tried to argue. he was really desperate at this point.
"Mother has forbidden your return. " Loki replied, Sun looked up and analyzed him, Although he does deceive a lot, there was not an ounce of deceit as he was talking, Loki now was completely sincere, Thor nodded his head In understanding before he lowered his head in defeat"
" This is goodbye, brother." Loki said, " I'm so sorry."
"No, I'm sorry. Loki... " Thor said, "thank you for coming here."
Loki then turned to Sun, "Sun when you are finished with your Midgardian activities, could you return to Asgard? There is something I would like to discuss with you."
Sun looked slightly confused but nodded his head, "if you insist," Lok smiled, "farewell."
Lokii then vanished.
"-wait where is the van!" Darcy's voice said, interrupting, the argument, between Jane and Selvig, yes, they were still going.
Sun sighed before he closed his eyes and disappeared, reappearing back to where the shield fortress was, Sun looked around until he spotted a familiar vehicle. Sun was kind of surprised it hasn't been confiscated yet.
He glanced at the Van put his palm against the sides before he teleported back to Jane. everyone was slack-jawed at what they had just seen,
"Did..." Darcy began she was still trying to get her Jaw off of the floor, "Did you just teleport?"
