In a remote area of the HYDRA base was a room. Well I'd say it looked more like a prison cell of an insane asylum. Inside this insane asylum esque room, there were no windows, the walls, floor and ceiling were covered in white noise canceling pads, and it was almost impossible to tell where the door was.
But for the unfortunate human being inside of this horrible room, she very much knew every nook and cranny of this place. Her long black hair covered her eyes, making her emotions unreadable.
She was dawned in all white clothing with neck and wrist accessories that you don't commonly find in your local jewelry store. She had mutant power suppressing handcuffs on her wrists and an electric shock collar around her neck.
When she is looked at from the right angle, you could clearly see brown marks around those areas, those marks being obvious signs of excessive struggle.
This was #6, the mostly hidden experiment that lived within the base. Over the last few months she had done nothing but fight and slaughter to get her way out, but she was outnumbered and out-powered.
When she was transferred from Stryker's main base to Strucker's main base, Strucker had no intention of developing her abilities to turn her into one of his little spies and data harvesters, he wanted her to be a complete guniea pig for his selfish and evil ambitions, he wanted to be a real harvester.
Knowing of her regenerative capabilities he would harvest certain parts of her organs to test just how regenerative they were. He would break her bones, her mind, and her spirit.
She's almost out of fight in her system from all of her pain, suffering, and failures. All she needed was a push, one last opportunity that guaranteed her freedom, and ultimately her revenge.

'These materials are noticeably more durable than the last few weeks of training, yet they still burn just as fast as anything else.' It seems my fire ability is accelerating at a faster rate than I thought. I've already burnt through multiple layers of amorphous silicon carbide, a material that is ten times stronger than Kevlar!
After completing the entire training course, I also took notice of my near perfect aim on the targets. Every fire mark was a bullseye except for one, and that's because a bit of dust got into my eye on that one.
Anyway, I cleaned myself up with a trecherous cold shower and noticed my developed physique.
'Almost a six pack? That plus my member makes quite the package if you know what I mean hehe.' I put on the clothing that they provide every single day and headed out for lunch.
After being here for a certain amount of time, Strucker allows you to orchestrate your own times for training, however he still decides the days. I picked my time on training days to be earlier in the day so I have more time to talk in the lunch room. I've convinced everyone else to do it too.
I take this escape plan extremely seriously, because this is basically a life or death situation. While I was walking to the cafeteria I noticed Strucker going in a certain direction with guard personnel in tow.
'Could that be where #6 is being held?' I had a crossroad currently in front of me. I could go to lunch without any difficulties, or I could follow them discreetly with the chance of getting caught.
'You only live once, well…' I quietly followed behind them from a distance of at least 15 feet away. That was the max distance in which I could hear something clearly, anything past that starts to become harder and harder to understand.
I held my breath as I followed them, seeing as I don't really need to breathe so that helped me quietly follow them, I was also progressively slowing my heartbeat in case one of them was a mutant or something with a sensing ability.
After passing through many security measures, they arrived to a room that had many advanced locks on it. I was hiding around a corner and to my right was a hallway, at the end of the hallway was the heavily locked room. I couldn't pass through the security measures, due to their being a guard on every one of them. However if I peaked around the corner, I would be able to clearly see inside the room.
The room was luckily within my range of hearing as well if I couldn't get an opportunity to peak.

The door in front of me opened, revealing that bastard Strucker and his usual metaphorical legion of guards. He told his guards to stay back as he walked into the room, with that famous sadistic smile.
"Hello there #6-"
"That's not my name." I stated, staring at him with my near permanent emotionless face.
"Hah, right, my apologies Laura. I know you're getting a bit lonely in this cell, all by yourself, so tomorrow I will allow you to eat lunch with the others. There's even an experiment you haven't met yet, which means you could make a new friend." Strucker said, his gaslighting being prominent in his speech.
As I was getting ready to profusely decline his offer, my senses suddenly flared, but I didn't sense danger. I looked past Strucker and to the end of the hallway. I saw small sparks of blue fire that continued to spark in a specific pattern.
I stared at it for a few seconds, suddenly realizing it was morse code. I decoded it to say "lunch tomorrow." I saw the face of the man who I assumed was sending the message, he had peeked around the corner, when he looked at me he nodded before turning around and running away. I looked back to Strucker to avoid getting this person caught or raising any of his suspicions.
"I'll go."
His smile grew more.
"Thank you for your cooperation Ms. Kinney." Strucker wrapped up his troops and left immediately.
Thousands of thoughts ran through my mind as to who had been spying on me, or rather Strucker? It has to be either a staff member gone rouge, or another experiment who wants to escape. The latter seems much more likely, seeing as this place is hell.
'I haven't seen him around, could he be the new experiment?'

I quickly ran away after sending my message five times, sensing that she had noticed it. In my head the only thing I could think of was that name.
'Laura Kinney, the daughter of Wolverine was in this facility. Screw the Avengers, if Logan knows about his daughter then the entire X-Men might show up!' I entered the lunch room a little late, I sat in my seat and looked at everyone with a serious gaze.
"Azrael where were you?" Pietro asked.
"I met #6, she's coming."

A/N: Surprise surprise (maybe not). The secret experiment is Laura Kinney aka X-23 aka Wolverine's daughter. Was it a good twist?
