Adam said, "There are a lot of things for me to handle here. I plan to stay for some extra days. If you can't stand the weather here, I'll ask Steve to take you back first."

Lumma replied, "That's alright. I'm fine with this."

He called her name again in a deep voice, "Lumma."

Lumma answered, "Yes?"

Adam said with a serious expression, "Don't do this in the future if something alike happens again."

Lumma made no response.

Actually, she didn't want to do so. She just went with her first instinctive at that time.

Working for him for days, she was used to giving priority to him.

After a moment of silence, Adam spoke again, "Does your husband know that you was injured?"

Lumma shook her head, "I didn't tell him."

Adam didn't understand, "Why?"

Lumma tried to explain, "I don't want him to worry about me."

Adam understood but felt somewhat uncomfortable.
