We arrived in the lounge, a dirty blonde haired lady, was sitted on the couch, she was accompanied by two people, a man and a woman, they both looked familiar, of course it was Evan and Jenet, who am I kidding. They're my sales associates at my boutique in Los Angeles, the once who disappeared with my properties like they never existed.
As we approached them, I could already see the nervous looks on their faces, man I would deal with them. "Mrs Wilson!" The blonde haired lady greeted with a smile. This people in the upper class only get aquainted to people they know they gain from, but once you are nothing, they act like you never existed.
Their fake smiles and Love doesn't get to me cause I know their tricks. But there's just one person that seems different from the rest, my baby Carie, so free spirited and sweet. "You must be Darla?" I asked with a smile, "Yes, I'm Darla, your personal shopper for jeweries and wedding dresses!" She said.
"The boxes on the table?" Carie asked. I noticed too, there were more than seven black boxes on the table. "Oh yes, they're the jeweries Mr Wilson asked for, he said the once my assistant brought were not his taste and we're too cheap for his wife!" Damn Alex knows how to spend money alot. I thought.
"These are gross diamonds necklaces, one of the most expensive diamonds in the world. I hope you would love these jeweries?" She said with a smile and the two nervous looking sales associates opened the box for us, one at a time. Alex was right these diamonds were better than the last, they were beautiful.
The least necklace there was a hundred and fifty million, I couldn't count the number of times I gulped at the price of each jewelry. "For your second outfit of the day, you would need pearl jewelries and I have just the right once for you!" She said.
"Second outfit?" I was confused at what she meant by second outfit. "Your second outfit for the wedding ceremony and engagement party has been decided by your husband. He really do love you so much, I bet you two will make the best couple ever!" She said and I smiled faintly.
I could see the sudden smile on Carie's face at Darla's words but I ignored. She can't be the one to tell me in the marriage, how much the Alex I know loves me.
"Do you have the wedding dress yet?" Carie asked this time. "It's still in progress but it would be ready before Friday next week, your engagement party dress is almost finished too!" She said as if she knew we'd ask about that too.
I and Carie picked the jewelry we wanted and Darla left with her sales associate. I went back to my room to rest after the stress of the day. Couldn't even growl at them like I thought. I've really changed alot, on a second thought.
What if Alex had asked them to leave?, but if he did why did they look so nervous to see me? I sighed and gave up. I really can't start thinking about anything related to Alex, he's really a complicated man.
"Thinking of me?" I heard his deep familiar voice as the door clicked. I stared at him without a word. I had more than a hundred and one thing running through my head all at once. Why can't I figure this man out, he walked into the bathroom immediately and got out after 30 mins or more.
He laid on the bed, his eyes were shot as he took in deep breaths. "Alex!" "Hmmm!" His eyes still closed. "Have you had anything to eat?"
"No!" His eyes were still shut and his voice got deeper. "Why?" "The food I ate at noon is enough for me!" He said. I didn't remember him eating anything. I was agape when I finally realized what he meant and I blushed.
