Chapitre 6: WHO'S SHE?

David, who had just finished, immediately walked downstairs to look for someone until the man finally found his best friend who was watching television.

"Good morning, Jane." He smiled at the person down there. He saw his best friend who always looked beautiful until finally someone who was in front of him now immediately sighed.

Someone down there who was watching television immediately looked up at the stairs where it turned out to be David who had just greeted her.

"Hey, David. Good morning, are you ready?" asked Jane with raised eyebrows.

The man who heard it immediately nodded his head. Now David was in front of the girl and smiled back a Jane.

"Yes, I have to go to the Company immediately. After work, I'll pick you up."

The woman's brow furrowed immediately after hearing what the person in front of her had just said.

"Oh, are you going somewhere?"

David, who heard the words of someone who was in front of him right now, immediately curled the corners of his lips upwards to form a smile.

One hand at this moment immediately ruffled the top of the girl's head in annoyance before finally speaking.

"Hey, did you forget?" asked David with raised eyebrows. "I'll take you to buy some clothes."

Jane's eyes immediately widened after hearing what her best friend had just said.

"No, I don't need it, David. Never mind, you better forget about it and do a good job."

"I don't like rejection, so if you're like this, I don't want to talk to you anymore."

Hearing that made Jane immediately widen before the woman finally sighed and nodded her head for a moment.

Meanwhile, David, who was in front of her, smiled at the woman in front of him with pleasure.

"You do, don't you?" David asked.

Jane looked at him and said, "Sure, if that's what you want."

Right after that David immediately took the woman into his arms so that now the man heaved a sigh of relief.

"Good, then I'll go to work first. See you later this afternoon, Jane."

David waved to someone who was in front of him right now before the man finally decided to just leave leaving Jane who had been sitting there smiling.

"Mr. Young."

David, who was playing with his phone, immediately looked up when he heard the driver calling him.

"Yes, what is up?" he said with raised eyebrows.

"Sorry, but Mr. just called me to invite you to his house this afternoon."

Hearing this, David took a deep breath. The man was so lazy to come to his own father's house because he knew what might happen when he came and obeyed the old man's wishes.

"No need, I have other things to do this afternoon anyway. You better not say anything to him, understand?"

A man who had worked as a driver with David for a long time immediately nodded his head and chose not to continue his words.

Meanwhile, David was suddenly annoyed after a while hearing what the person in front of him had just said.

Arriving at the Company, everyone immediately smiled and greeted their superior who had just arrived, making David who knew about it immediately raise one hand in response as he walked past everyone in front of him at this time.

Until finally David stopped at a special elevator for him to make the man directly enter it without caring about the several pairs of eyes that had been watching him for a long time.

Now he was in his room with so many files that had piled up on the table, making him who knew about it immediately sigh for a moment.

"Alright, let's get back to work now."

David immediately walked over to his desk to finish some files that were on the table there before the man finally heard the sound of his phone ringing.

The man chuckled annoyed because he was disturbed by it so finally David immediately turned off the power of his phone without caring who had just called him.

Currently, Jane is staring at her phone screen while sighing when it turns out that her call is not answered making the woman feel guilty.

"Sorry, but he's not answering my calls. Maybe he's busy," she said to the person in front of her right now.

In the middle stood a woman who was looking at Jane intensely. To be honest, Jane herself doesn't know who is in front of her right now, because when she was in the living room, suddenly the sound of the bell ringing made her immediately walk to open the door and find someone she had just seen at this time.

"If I may ask, what's your name? I'll tell David about your arrival later."

Hearing that made the eyes of a woman in front of her squint immediately.

"You don't need to know my name, just tell David I'll be back later."

Jane immediately raised her eyebrows after hearing what the woman had just said before finally seeing her leave just past her.

She shook her head for a moment before she finally decided to go back into the Mansion and didn't forget to close the door first.

Jane fell silent again thinking about who had just arrived, and this was the first time David had a female friend other than her.

When she had just arrived at the edge of the highway, she immediately turned her body back to face someone who was in front of her at this time with her mind constantly focused on a strange woman she had just seen at this time. She took a deep breath before finally crossing her arms over her chest.

"Who's she?" she muttered with a furrowed brow. "Did David have a girlfriend all this time?"

She realized that someone had been watching her for a long time so she who knew this immediately sighed. The woman chose to stay away from the Mansion because it seemed like all the workers there were starting to spy on her.

In the distance, Jane noticed a woman's movements which for some reason were very suspicious. It made her have to immediately ask David to investigate the person before it was too late and something untoward happened.

Except, if David did recognize the person. Then that means, Jane must know enough to know more about it. Even though she wanted to believe him, she didn't know why it was so hard for her to do that.
