Chapitre 135: The steamy Affair

Maria stretched her legs and yawned while staring at the stone-cold man before her. They had spent about six hours in his office already basically chasing shadows. It still didn't look like he was ready to stop. He just kept on coming up with one theory upon another and she was sick of it all. 

She clicked on her phone to check the time and sighed. It was seven pm already. Marco's flight would be taking off at the moment. She was thankful Zia, Andre, Morena, and Matteo had volunteered to see him off. She took another glance at Vincenzo and sighed again. This time s a little bit louder so he could hear her.

"What is it?" He asked finally looking up from whatever he was so invested in.

"We've got nothing so far and it's getting darker. Shouldn't we just call it a day and meet at a later time" she asked and as if to show just how tired she was, faked a yawn.
