Chapitre 136: An Old Friend

Maria's eyes shot open and she immediately jerked up. The motion around her made her understand she was still in a car. She quickly reached out to the chair before her in an attempt to grab whoever occupied it. 

Before she could, the man in the passenger seat beside the driver turned to look at her with a mischievous grin on her face. At that moment, she remembered. Then she began to scream.

BEFORE

"I'm sorry" Vincenzo whispered into the phone because he didn't want his father to hear.

"It's okay Vince. The car was already outside waiting for me when I stepped out" she replied.

"I like when you call me Vince," he said and she could hear the smile in his voice.

"I know" she replied cockily. This made him grin even further.

"Call me when you get home"
