“Why would you think you were getting one?”

“Don’t worry about it. I’ll deal with it.” And wasn’t it just like that fuck, Perry. I turned back to the Idiots three. “Now, before I ask you why you and your friends came after my son, suppose you tell me who beat his mother to death.”

“What are you talking about, your son?” Idiot number two sputtered. “We were told he was just some random kid—”

“Shut up!” Idiot number three roared. Maybe he wasn’t such an idiot after all.
