Chapitre 18: Walk of Pride

"Twenty nine minutes and forty eight seconds."

Nate's voice travelled through the decidedly expensive and large bedroom, almost startling Keira the moment she stepped out of the bathroom. She put a hand on her chest, feeling the heart beneath her ribs pound nervously.

"What were you doing in there?" His lustful tone prickled on her skin, sending shivers and an unwanted image of what could possibly be on his face right now.

She was about to scold him when they came face to face again. Alas, she could not even look at him now.

Because Nate, ever the annoying yet charming man some of the time, was on the bed. Still very much without any article of clothing saved from the pillow she threw at him earlier, shielding her eyes from getting a visual of his manly parts. Moreover, he was not sitting, mind. He was lying sideways; messy hair slightly covered his forehead as his head parched on his palm.

With not an ounce of shame.
