Chapitre 64: Too many enemies

Prudence held the still-warm clothes by her chest as her eyes welled up with tears. She held them back for all it was worth but these small things were very big for her. Even if someone bought her the world, this would mean more than that. It was a two-piece bloomer set and the thought that went behind it was clear. 

Prudence always loved horse riding and the costume was not an inner but a coat and pants with puffed legs which only hugged the legs below knee.

It was a new style in the market a few months back for the women who played sports, especially cycling. But for her, even horse riding could be easier with this. For someone like her, it would take her a year's worth of saving to have this quality and her mother must have used all her saving to buy this for her. 

Lilian looked down at Prudence, who kneeled on the floor holding the clothes, which clearly looked like an abomination.
