Alliana's pov:

Souline and I both fell asleep after an emotional night. Because of the pain in my leg, I was quivering a little. It was as if someone had poured salt into my wound.

I was curious as to how I got this wound. I didn't fall or collide with anything sharp. I only remember running away from the masked figure and climbing the gate to escape.

I stood up and looked to my right, where I found Souline sleeping. I needed to use the bathroom. I slowly took the sheets off the bed and stood up.

I had to grab the nightstand to prevent myself from falling. I also didn't want to startle Souline. I winced in pain and walked slowly to the bathroom.

I pushed open the door and went inside. I turned on the lights and went to the bathroom. I washed my hands after using the restroom and looked in the mirror.

When I looked at the dried mascara, the clumps were horrendous. I took out a white paper towel, soaked it in water, and dabbed it on my face.
