Rome, Italy.

Alliana's pov:

I awoke from what appeared to be a coma. I blinked several times before sitting up and rubbing my eyes.

I briefly glanced around the room. I furrowed my brows and realized it was the hotel where I was staying with Souline.

My leg began to hurt before I moved, making me wince. When I looked down at my leg, I noticed it was bandaged with a red patch in the middle.

"Alliana," someone said. When I turned around, I saw who it was. Souline. "Souline?  When did you—" I asked, my face perplexed.

I was interrupted when Souline threw herself into my arms, hugging me so tightly that I couldn't breathe. "You're awake!" exclaimed Souline, her sobs audible between her words.

"I am," I said, still perplexed, as I hugged her back. "Do you not remember anything?" Souline asked as she pulled apart.
