Chapitre 13: Chapter 13: Let’s Get Together

I shove my headphones into my ears as I walk down the familiar path of the school campus. I’m wearing the first long sleeve of the autumn season, and I’m practically walking on sunshine, just like the song that’s playing in my ears.

I get to see Felix later today in the café during one of the quiet times, classes are going well, and I finally get to see some of my friends from high school. Even though we all decided to go to the same school, we have different majors and, therefore, getting us together in the same place at the same time is like herding cats.

Needless to say, this meet-up is going to be great.

I take the familiar turn and watch as some of the leaves on the nearby trees flutter to the ground, edges curled up with the first official signs of autumn here in the north. I close my eyes and breathe deeply, enjoying the feel of the morning sun on my face.
