"Ahem! Ahern!" He let out a fake cough to catch her attention, but Zarina continued to ignore him. He walked near and stared at her, but she seemed engrossed in her phone as if she were the only person in the office.

 Draymond took a seat on the couch, his eyes fixed on Zarina, who was still preoccupied with her phone.

"Damn! What's her problem? Why isn't she noticing me?" he murmured, frustration surging within him. Draymond began to lean on the couch, his left hand resting on the armrest, gently drumming his fingers, while his other hand supported his chin.

He couldn't figure out why Zarina was treating him like thin air. He tried to recall every interaction, reviewing the pages of their encounters like flipping through a book, searching for any wrongdoing on his part.
