Chapitre 1: Meet Cariana Schmidt
RING RING! RING RING!
A phone kept on ringing but the owner of the phone is sound sleep.
RING RING! RING RING!
Finally a beautiful women opened her violet eyes. Her eyes were very unique, one would just fall deep under them. She got up from her bed frustrated.
"UGHHH!"
She had a curvy figure that makes any men lust over her. Walking straight to the bathroom she came out half an hour later draped with a towel. She then walked inside the door in the corner of her room.
Roaming around the room she selected a plain white tee and ripped denims and made her hair in half-bun. Then she started her make up routine which just include toner, serum, some vitamins, essential face oil, face cream and sunscreen. Looking herself in the mirror she sighed!
'Haaa!'
Sometime she also get surprised by looking her reflection in the mirror, looking at those beautiful eyes that were much more purple inherited from her mother. Then she got up after some time and used her favorite perfume.
Dragging her feet's ; she reached bedside table and checked her phone and suddenly remembered that she has to go to family gathering today. She checked time and she know she is late!!!
"AH! Mom will again going to call me anytime soon and will start her lecture. Can't they just held this gathering in the afternoon."
Bickering to herself Cariana went to kitchen and grabbed two pieces of bread and a dip. She then packed her breakfast in a paper bag. Carrying it she rushed out of the kitchen and grabbed her hand bag from the side table near the main door. Putting on her shoes and grabbing her keys she went out of her penthouse and locked it.
She then rushed to the life that was just for the penthouse.
'DING'
Getting out of the lift she rushed to her own parking space and opened the door of her Audi R8 in black. Sitting inside it she started the engine and stepped on the gas.
It would take her one hour to reach her home where her grandparents, parents and uncle's family lives.
She opened the paper bag and started eating her breakfast which was finished in mere five minutes.
It was only 20 minutes when her phone started ringing again. Without even looking at caller id she knew who it was. Turning on the Bluetooth and picking up the phone she didn't even waited the person to speak and said
"Hey Mom! I'm on my way and please for goodness sake don't start your lecture. I already had a tough week and just want peaceful weekend."
The caller on the other line was none other than her beautiful mom Mrs. Emilia Schmidt. She is a Biology professor and is very well known and respected. With a soothing and calm voice she replied
"Hey Ana! Good morning to you too and I didn't called you to know your location but to let you know that we will have guests at our house today and they will spend weekend with us."
"What!!??" Carina shouted.
"Wasn't this always a family gathering with no outsiders?" She asked confused about the sudden change.
"Yes sweetheart, it was. But the family coming over are very close to your grandmother and we got to knew about it just 2 hours before. Just bring some gifts on your way for a three years old kid and two girls in twenties. If possible for two men also of age around your brother and something for elders from your side. They are gonna reach here soon." Emilia replied
"Mom! I'm already late ." Cariana said frustrated. Damn these people have to come today only.
"Why are you speaking like this? Did something happened?" Emilia asked worried.
"Agggh! Mom you know one of my patient died just because he didn't have money for his treatment and those old fox didn't allow me to do the operation. For goodness sake! I'm the CEO!" Cariana felt like crying because she don't want anyone to to die just because they don't have money. She wanted to change it but most of the board members disagree just for the reason of not losing money.
"Mom just because I'm twenty-six doesn't mean I'm not capable of handling things. But they pressure me ." She continued.
"Oh Ana!" Emilia sighed.
"Don't worry child. We will talk about it later. Now drive carefully and cheer up, you don't want to show this face to your grandfather. And yaa don't forget to buy gifts. Okay sweetheart?"
"Okay Mom. Thank you. I just wanted to let it out of my head. I'll buy the gifts. Don't worry. Bye!" Cariana replied in much better mood. Sure her mother is the best.
"Bye! See you soon."
The call ended and Cariana took a left turn where a high end mall is located.
