The wolf barked.

"I'm fine!" Arielle shouted before William barged in and made her communication with Amadea cut off again. 

"Very well, Your Highness. We understand," William replied.

Arielle turned back to Amadea who was waiting for her to speak again. "I knew your purpose, but Ronan had gone through a lot of grief due to your curse. He lost his family at a very young age. And now, he was sick because he couldn't fight you. Could you give him a little mercy just for tonight?"

(Who are you to command me? He deserves it. Theodore's descendants deserve all this misery.)

Arielle looked down dejectedly. Otis didn't tell Arielle what had happened in the past that made Amadea and Princess Cecil curse the descendants of the first king and Northendell. Otis just said that Arielle was not ready to accept the responsibility.
