Kylie had a hard time processing the idea that her biological father might be a human trafficker. If it was true, she couldn't believe that it had been kept from her. Kylie leaned her head on the window and said tiredly, "Take me to Faith's house. I have something to tell her."

Dinah didn't ask her for a reason. She simply obeyed, and when they arrived, she instinctively knew that Kylie wanted her to stay behind. As Kylie opened the door, she looked at her and said, "If you need me, this is where I'll be."

"No," Kylie sighed. "I will stay with Faith this evening. You should go find Stephen."

Dinah smiled and thanked Kylie.

Seconds later, Kylie was at Faith's door, and Dinah was gone. Kylie knocked on her door, and when Faith opened it, she was completely surprised. Before she asked any question, though, she invited her friend inside. Faith led Kylie into the living room, brought her a drink, and asked her what brought her there.
