By the silence that took place after he asked for Camilla, ALex knew something was wrong. 

"Grandmma, where is she?" He asked again, this time, feeling his chest tightening. 

"Come back to Chicago, Alex." Was all she said and ended the call. 

Alex stayed like that, frozen, for a while. He could not move. Something inside told him Camilla was not there. He would not see her pretty face and sweet smile ever again. 

If it wasn't for his son, he would definitely not go to Chicago. 

Alex called the office and said he could not go that day. No more explanations. 

'But, what about the meeting, sir?', his secretary asked.

"Family's matter. So, just reschedule."

His tone was very weird, and for that, the secretary decided not to ask anything more and just accept that she had to call the other investors and deal with them herself.
