Chapitre 26: What In The World?

When Casey finally did manage to get an internship set up, they went out to celebrate and Vera caught him scribbling something in a little notebook when she was coming back from the bathroom. Was that supposed to be some sort of planner? She had seen his school planner though and it was bigger. This was small enough to fit in a pocket. 

She didn't think anything of it again until months later when Casey was at his internship and she was doing laundry before heading over to help Tilly at the store. She was shaking out his pockets to make sure nothing got destroyed in the wash and a little notebook fell out of the shorts he wore yesterday. 

She wouldn't have peeked inside at all if it hadn't opened to a random page when it fell and she caught a glimpse of her name. '12/21—Took finance final. Got a B+. You're welcome. Vera celebrated finals being done by taking us ice skating. I only fell once and it was because some idiot bumped into me.'
