A few days later, in a spacious, low-profile, and luxurious office, Henry Russell stood in the shadow where the sunlight could not reach, frowning at the floor-to-ceiling windows. His worry for Charlotte Cooper grew as time passed.
He really didn't know what kind of useless people he had been keeping around. Not only did they fail to protect Charlotte, but they were also slow in searching for her, and he hadn't received any updates.
Henry grew increasingly agitated, pacing back and forth in the office, watching the traffic from his favorite angle. His usual enjoyment was now replaced by annoyance, and he found the constant flow of cars to be unbearably noisy.
After an unknown amount of time, someone rang the doorbell, asking to enter the office to report to Henry.
Henry turned around and hurriedly said, "Get in here, now!"
After saying so, someone quickly pushed the door open and entered.
