"I had a nightmare." He said, "about my father. That he was back and he..."

He massaged his forehead as if he struggled not to believe it was real.

"I had a nightmare that he took you, Lily. And did the same things he did to me."

I caressed his cheek, "I am sorry," 

"I promise you nothing will happen to me,"

I told him.

"That was just a nightmare." I insisted on seeing him still unable to distinguish what was real and what was unreal. 

"What's concerning you?"

At my question, he met my gaze and looked at me quite miserable. 

"I am scared, I could end up like him. That one day I will become a bad person and may hurt you. My mom said he wasn't like that before. I don't know what to believe Lily. But I am afraid." He covered his forehead with his hands.
