"Emily, come join me for breakfast." I heard Shawn's mom say as I walked down the stairs. Looks like she knew I spent the night here, sleeping of course.
"Good morning Mrs Anderson." I said with an awkward smile. I could still remember the last time I saw her. Heavens, that was a very awkward situation.
"Oh sweetie. You just call me Carol. Mrs Anderson makes me feel old." She said with a chuckle. Feeling a little unerved, I went down the stairs to join her at the table. When I'd awoken, Shawn wasn't by my side. Now it's breakfast and he isn't here also?
"Shawn had some matters to attend to quickly. Don't worry, you'll have him in your arms before you know it." My cheeks flushed slightly. I wasn't that bothered. I was just wondering where he could be so early in the morning on a Saturday.
