Chapitre 4: Living with Todoroki family
Seeing Hiro's ability and the result in Aizawa's device made Shoto frown as he thought, "father was right, he is one to watch out for. Still, it wasn't to the extent I should worry about. No matter what kind of tricks he can make with his Quirk, at the end of the day, it's just Ice which can be destroyed by my left hand. The problem here is this Bokugo's explosive quirk and Midoriya, hmm, it is certainly too powerful but seems like he doesn't much control over it. I should also watch him out. These two are definitely in the way of me reaching the top."
Meanwhile, Bakugo looked at him seriously as he saw Hiro's result was 965m and became a little frustrated of getting defeated by him once again. But then again, when he saw Midoroya's face, he forgot everything and became angry while thinking how Midoriya made a fool out of him from his childhood keeping his Quirk secret and acting like a Quirkless.
One by one, as their turn is over, Momo Yaoyorozu created a cannon after getting inspired by Hiro's idea. Just like him, she threw the ball inside of it and fired it up. She ranked second in the test with 1200m distance.
A while later, as the overall results being announced, Midoriya's face turned to dejection seeing him at the bottom of the class while Momo was smiling as she ranked at the top followed by Shoto at 2nd, Hiroto at 3rd, Bakugo at 4th and so, go on...
Satisfied with results for different reasons, the twins left the ground along with everyone else while Midoriya was stupified on hearing the expulsion was just a joke.
After the class is dismissed, while Midoriya went to the Recovery Girl to heal his finger, everyone else was given their evaluation in addition of a few advice regarding their fitness and then later Aizawa said, "all of you can go home since there were no classes for the rest of the day. And Hiroto Todoroki, you go and visit Principal after this."
After a few people left, Hiro picked up his bag and started to leave. Just then, "Todoroki san, you both have the same surname. By any chance, are you two related to each other?" as Sero asked him, Hiro replied, "he's my twin brother."
"Eh?" Sero was stupified along with the rest of them who are present in the class. Kirishima almost screamed as he was taken aback in surprise, "you both are twins? That means you are no.2 hero, Endeavor's son?"
As soon as he said the name Endeavor, Kirishima stepped back a little as he saw the look in Hiro's eyes. Hiro looked at him coldly and said, "I hope you do that next time. He's just my biological parent, not my father." Then, as he quickly left, Kirishima wiped the sweat on his forehead, "man, that was scary. It seems Todoroki san resents his father too much."
Sero shrugged his shoulders and commented, "honestly, most of the people don't like Endeavor, anyway. He's scary to approach, unlike All Might."
After a while, Hiro reached the Principal's office. As he entered the room, he saw Nezu and Aizawa were sitting with Endeavor and Shoto. After taking a look at him, Endeavor stood up and walked towards him majestically, "this is the first time we are meeting after 14 years. Let me introduce myself, "Enji Todoroki and you know Shoto, anyway."
"What are you doing here?" Hiro asked him coldly as he was controlling himself while his pale face turning red in anger and his body was shaking. Seeing his expression, Shoto was pretty much surprised as he didn't know that his older twin hates his father this much.
As Nezu was also surprised, slowly, the entire room was frozen and Nezu started to shiver while Endeavor easily nullified it by generating the heat from his body. Then he said, "easy boy. Get used to it. After all, you'll see my face daily for a while."
Hiro didn't interrupt him as he was speaking and forced himself to calm down. Then, he asked Nezu, "didn't I already say that I don't need his protection? I can take care of myself."
"It is a rule of this school that every student must live with their guardian until they get a provisional hero license. In case your family is far away, the school will talk to the government and provide you a Guardian. But in your case, since your biological family lives in this city, you can't live alone since your Mother gave her consent. Well, you can raise a complaint after staying with them for a while, if they ever abuse you. Then, we can change your Guardian. As you are our student from this day, you have to follow the rules," Nezu explained carefully so that Hiro wouldn't misunderstand the situation.
Endeavor then spoke, "you don't have a choice here, boy. Let's go. Your grandma and siblings are waiting for you." Hiro who was shocked remembered his mother's apology back when he was leaving his home. He thought, "I thought mom was apologizing for making me look after Shoto but it seems like it was because of this, huh. Sigh."
Hiro replied, "fine. But please remember that I'm coming with you, not because of U.A. rules. It's because of my mom. She gave her consent without asking me probably because she wants me to spend time with them and knowing me, I would have rejected attending this school if I knew about it beforehand. It's only a few months, anyway. Let's go."
While Shoto frowned seeing Hiro's behavior while talking to his father since he didn't see anyone dared to talk to him face to face without any respect in his whole life, Endeavor didn't comment on his words at all and just said, "let's go."
After the three of them left the office, Aizawa asked, "why did you lie? Even though it's an unwritten rule, a student can still live alone without a guardian if he's in 2km range from the school. I can see how much Hiroto hate Endeavor and it seems his younger twin, Shoto also hates his brother."
"Because he's an Absolute, he needed to be protected. What's better than a no.2 hero's home," replied Nezu. Aizawa frowned, "you told me that already. he inherited his maternal grandfather's Quirk. While it seems amazing, it isn't so strong that he needs to be protected as you said."
Nezu grinned, "Aizawa kun, you still don't know a lot about the world. Do some research about Absolute Quirks and you'll know why am I worrying about it. We can't stop a Hero to hide his quirk, all we can do is protect him until he can control his Quirk."
Meanwhile, Endeavor, Shoto, and Hiroto were surrounded by the reporters and asking several questions as soon as they stepped out of U.A. Endeavor then publicly announced Hiroto as his 4th son and was the older twin of Shoto Todoroki.
As Shoto and Hiroto got overwhelmed by them, the reporters began to ask him about why he and his wife separated, he looked at them in anger with fire emitting in place of his mustache, beard, and eyebrows sacring them away before stepping inside his car. Hiroto followed him while thinking, "what a cheap trick, indeed. It doesn't matter whether the world acknowledges it or not, I'll never acknowledge you as my father. Never."
