February 1, 2033, United Kingdom, City of Churlak…
A man in his 25s with very unkempt hair was lying on his bed exhausted, after working late into the night, having put off his job for the week.
He is quite handsome, but never pays attention to his clothes or hair. His hair is blond, falling to one side, with a dark sparse beard, which grows naturally without modifying its thickness or trimming any part of his beard.
Instead of going to sleep, he was watching a documentary that perhaps when he was more awake and with his brain more active, he would find simply ridiculous. Still, he wanted to finish watching it...
"How do fish reproduce..."
It was one of the few useless questions answered by this documentary.
Suddenly the channel he was watching turned blue and... An adult woman with a serious and wrinkled face appeared in the middle of the screen.
This woman started saying things that made him think he was watching science fiction:
"Many unidentified phenomena have been showing up in different parts of the world, including in the UK..."
"They seem like accumulations of energy that appear randomly, the community of scientists worldwide are investigating this, the news is expected soon…"
"This energy is dangerous...There have already been cases of people who have died from touching this energy without knowing, citizens are asked for their cooperation by not approaching this phenomenon while our scientists investigate…"
"In case you see something similar to this..." The woman pointed to an image where the street seemed distorted and everything was isolated by tapes that said "danger".A strange white light was seen coming out of that distortion, a dim light...
"Please call the number on the screen". She said with a serious face.
That day, Viktor Vahiro was surprised, but he wasn't scared, he just thought that worrying wouldn't help him. He wasn't a scientist either, so he wouldn't get into it.

The next day he went to work, he worked in different places and did any work that brought him some money, he did not want to be hired by a company as a full-time worker. Rather, he liked to do various things, and they were simple jobs part-time, without too much burden or responsibility…
Of course, these jobs did not have an extraordinary payment, but he did not need something like that, since lived alone, he wanted nothing more than to be independent and live in peace, only satisfying his wishes, without worrying about much else.
Following his normal routine, he would come home late at night, after working at a small local supermarket, and start playing video games, staying until the next morning either playing on the computer, watching videos or movies on his cell phone.
That was his "plan" if his disastrous routine with interrupted sleep and diversity of schedules that even he does not know if it can be called a plan, but today he had a slight delay in this...
When he was walking there was a commotion, he just saw a bunch of people surrounding something, but he didn't want to get close. He didn't want any unnecessary trouble, and he wasn't very curious either.
He just tried his best to push aside the people and go to his house, but of course it wasn't easy, if he took a detour he could avoid this but he didn't want to walk too much when his house was close.
When he was about to leave this huge crowd he saw slightly why there was so much noise, there were policemen surrounding the place. And behind them one of those phenomena that he saw on television just a few hours ago. And he ignores it...
He went on his way and was finally able to farm items in a game that only a few other geeks were playing.
Days passed and there was no positive news about these phenomena that appeared more and more frequently, the world was alarmed, and it was a worrying situation.
Viktor knew that there was frequent news but he did not see it, although he did not underestimate this crisis, he did not think he could contribute anything and found it useless to inform himself so much.
Sometimes, he talked to his family to ask some curiosity about this problem or to verify that they take care of themselves, but nothing more.
He superficially saw some of the explanations that were given on TV, but he understood almost nothing, that said something about energy, its type, and blah, blah, blah... He quickly turned off the television.
He often felt frustrated by his lack of usefulness, but the truth was, he didn't think he could do anything right now... This reminded him of COVID-19, which occurred in 2020, in fact, they were already talking about taking similar measures.
The deaths kept going, and it was getting more and more worrying, of course, people weren't idiots (most of them), and they tried to get away when these phenomena appeared, but more and more appeared and it was unpredictable where.
In addition, they released more and more energy, which caused more damage. The moment they appeared, several people immediately died.
After they appear, they last for an irregular amount of time and disappear.
What was strange and surprised everyone was that there were no cases of these phenomena inside buildings, although it was not yet known why...
Days later it was decided to start recommending staying at home and going out only when necessary.

March 5, 2033
This was not a disease but isolation measures began to be taken. With the passing of just a few days, the measures were increasingly strict and legal measures began to be taken against those who did not comply with the isolation.
For Viktor this meant more free time and less work, but he was not sad to be like a cat in a cage. Although he didn't like it, since he was a stay-at-home kind of guy he didn't suffer as much as other people, the only thing that suffered was his wallet.
Soon, the world became alarmed once again, as this energy began to stop disappearing (before they disappear after a while, usually hours at the most). There were more and more of these things, many began to say again that it was going to be the end of the world...
'As they say every year on the networks, I guess one day it'll be right...' thought Viktor.
The energy began to accumulate and give mini explosions in these phenomena...
Luckily they didn't spawn too close to structures, and while some buildings did take damage, it wasn't much.
After a few days... These got bigger, they had already destroyed enough with their explosions. When it started they were barely the size of a palm, now some were the size of an adult human.
When they all got to about the same size, the world stopped...Literally!
March 10, 2033, would be a date the world would remember…
