Chapitre 37: No crying in battle.

Falling into the dungeon, Viktor immediately regretted not understanding the obvious warning given to him by Chaos itself, his ally, the Chaos...

The feeling of constant war overwhelmed him. Turning around, he understood everything...

"The dungeon has changed," he announced.

Moments later the soldiers and family all panicked.

The system message didn't help. Luckily, Viktor was the only one who half-consciously read it...

[System(Private): The core of polemos(the core that revives monsters and maintains the link between this world and different worlds of the Warlord), has found a concentration of the chaos within you.

-Observing a dangerous talent in the host, the polemos of this dungeon has used an unexpected tactic.

-The system successfully blocked most of the modifications to give the host and his group a chance to survive.

-The transmission of information from the polemos to the corrupted god and the god of war could not be prevented. The malignant alliance will learn some of the host's characteristics. As a countermeasure, all the high commanders of the celestial alliance will be informed about his situation. ]

At the entrance of the dungeon, a man surrounded by many people in black combat clothing arrived.

Immediately, this middle-aged man gave Marcus a glance, and then nodded to General Glak.

Glak nodded to his old friend, while Marcus lowered his head slightly.

The renowned scientist Lamber Odxon, who wore a white robe and bore an obvious similarity to Marcus, greeted them both.

"General Glak, a pleasure to see you" He smiled.

"And you too, little Marky" Hearing him, Marcus blushed and lowered his head even more.

" Uncle...Please, stop it... "Embarrassed,'' he pleaded.

The scientist had brown hair, with an M haircut, parted in the middle of his head, with the hair falling to both sides. Marcus had a similar haircut, only with no gray hair, no receding hairline, and more hair.

He was slim, almost the same as Marcus, who for a soldier was quite thin, although unlike his scientist uncle, Marcus had more marked muscles.

After hours of research and the use of different devices that only a few had... After communications with different high commands, only one conclusion could be reached.

In a tent set up by the military, in which there were only a few people, Glak, Lamber and others were discussing.

A person on call with the loudspeaker of the system was remarking him in the meeting, having this last one the capacity to decide what to do.

The person had a voice similar to Lamber Odxon, but more irritable and spoke faster...

"The only conclusion is that the mana is still present, and even increased..."

"Regarding the situation of the group in there...the mana still exists, so the dungeon must still exist, but whether they can return or not..."

"Unfortunately we must consider the worst more likely. The increase in mana indicates the strength of the dungeon, and clearly, the group that went in would hardly cope with that abrupt increase in energy." Lamber commented.

Soon, the news spread through various high society groups.

On the other hand, in a seemingly wooded dungeon...

As soon as he woke up, Viktor felt an overwhelming sense of dizziness...

It was terrible indeed.

As soon as they entered the dungeon, he was invaded by an aura of war, hostile energy completely overwhelming.

He lost consciousness after protecting his group from the aura with his chaotic energy for a while.

Luckily he was able to regain consciousness only a few minutes later...

But even so, was this really luck?

His family and the group of civilians were fighting with a group of orcs.

There were too many of them...

Orcs, not goblins... Fucking orcs! Orcs were a clear evolution of goblins!!!

To this thought, an unpleasant message replied:

[System(Private):The host and his party were teleported to the safest place within the system's capabilities. ]

[System(Private):The polemos of the current dungeon absorbed a considerable amount of mana from the various dungeons around it].

[System(Private):The system did its best to avoid this absorption, but major changes can be noticed in this dungeon].

[System(Private):The current area has the weakest monsters in the dungeon].

Shouts rang out, the new "soldiers", who were actually a group of barely trained civilians, were already in a lousy state.

Luckily, the family's efforts were worth it, being able to rescue all of them without more than a couple of medium wounds.

Lucia was throwing fire like a maniacal psychopath. Her father was cutting and throwing knives like an otaku, and her mother was helping and healing like a saint.

'They all look good in their roles'.

A very brief, unconscious thought passed through Viktor, as he looked at his family, especially his sister.

He joined the fight. His spear killed one, his ax killed others. His sword was not forgotten either.

It wasn't that hard to fight orcs. There were so many of them, it was exhausting, but it was all over soon.

If it had been a few months ago... They could not have survived.

The "soldiers" were shivering in fear, at least, most of them.

Viktor took one look and smiled at the few who hadn't given in and tried to fight. Or at least stand still.

When he lowered his gaze, to see those 7 who couldn't stand,

he shouted:

"From now on, you will have to work to survive."

"I don't want to see them complaining or crying in the middle of a fight."

"All your emotions you can vent when you are safe..."

"BUT NEVER CRY IN THE MIDDLE OF A FUCKING BATTLE!!!"
