Chapitre 136: New Surroundings

***ALEX'S POV***

"You really are a strange girl, you know that?" One was looking at me with his eyes wide and a strange smile on his face.

"Yeah, well, I don't need to pretend to be perfect for all of you. You kidnapped me thinking I would be one thing, so I am going to be the real me, not the fake me that someone told me to be."

"I am guessing that you have to keep up appearances for your father?" He looked like he understood what it was that I was going through. Or rather, what Winter was going through.

"Yeah, something like that." I nodded at him as I moved to look around the room. "So, this pretty pretty nightmare is where you're going to force me to be until you learn that my father won't pay you. And then what? Are you going to kill me if he doesn't pay up?"

"That isn't up to us." He looked uneasy. I didn't know how I felt about that. Why would my kidnapper be uneasy about this topic? He was the one that was doing this to me after all.
