Like blood from a frozen heart

As far as Kika could remember, her husband, Luke had always been in love with Melody. He couldn't let go of his wild feelings for her and they slowly grew into something dark and murky. Something twisted and ugly. An unholy obsession.

The entitlement as a vampiric prince is called domination. Luke's domination was suspended indefinitely because of the atrocities he committed to satiate his sick desire to make the crown princess; Melody, who was already married to his cousin, his sole possession.

Kika finally decided to let go of her unrequited love for Luke and put an end to the endless circles of pain and jealousy but he didn't want to let her go, he persistently refused to sign the divorce papers. After eight years of their torturous relationship and Luke constantly neglecting his daughter, he expects her to forget everything about it and move on.

Kika is trying to put the interests of her daughter first but with Luke's sudden change, she's finding it hard to believe that he has finally decided to put his past behind him and forget about Melody. Will she allow herself to fall for him when there's a huge possibility that she might get hurt again? Or Will she decide that they both should go their separate ways and pretend that they were never married?

Luke smiled broadly at Kika, she blinked, she was completely stunned by his statement and it seemed her vocal cords had ceased to pour out the retort forming in her mind.
