The next day, Cess's birthday party was in full swing.

The lively children's music and the joyful laughter of children filled the whole mansion.

Liam invited Cess's classmates and her teacher from primary school. Of course, the little girl's paternal grandparents came as well. There was no way that the grandparents who pampered the children would miss Cess's birthday.

Liam also invited Lianne's father. Although Lianne was an illegitimate child, it would not erase the fact that Lianne's children were his grandchildren. 

However, no one from Lianne's side showed up.

Liam was satisfied with that. If Lianne's father came, she would not know how to act to him.

The little guests were all prancing about in the fantastically decorated living room filled with colorful balloons, toys, and delicious food and snacks.

When Liam heard the news that the grandparents finally arrived, she turned to Cess.
