Chapitre 13: Title at the end:

Looking at the eyes staring at him, Jon couldn't help but space out again.

With her creamy hair and green eyes that looked perfect with her face. Her body wasn't overly loaded, but the fact her assets could she seen through her baggy dress. One could only imagine how stunning, she was.

Who else could it be, if not Cynthia. He had passed by all of the top ten before, and knew them as they were popular. However, he was sure, Cynthia was not among them. He hadn't even heard of her before. And seeing her now, he didn't think those top ten could match her.

"You're awake," she said, snapping Jon out of his daze.

And when Jon snapped out of it, he asked, "Who are you?"

"Huh? haven't I told you. My name is Cynthia." She replied.

"No, not that. I mean, I haven't heard of you before." He pointed at her.

"And what did you want to know about me?" She asked with a sly smile on her face.

"That-," looking at the look on her face, he didn't know how to react.

He then looked away and scanned the room, his eyes widening a little as he took in his surroundings. They were truly no longer in the female dormitory like he had said.

They were now in the student cafeteria. And, they were now in a room that had a see- through glass door. And looking through, he could see lots of students and staffs around.

He turned around, "Can you tell me what happened?" "Alright"

"First, because you lost a lot of blood. You slept for over a day till now." She looked a little worried as she said it.

"A day?" Jon's eyes widened at the confirmation. He had just missed a day out of the two, since the world fell.

"And the fruits?" Jon asked. "We fed it to you after noticing it's effect." Cynthia said they ate the fruit and they fully healed their injuries, so they fed it to him.

"Yes, we couldn't wait, so we carried you here. Zombies appeared on the way here, so Jenny, the security team and I cleared them. But, a lot of girls couldn't stand their sights and ran away. It then led to so many girls running away." She looked down for a while.

While she and the rest had already seen and experienced the zombies, a lot of them hadn't. So, they ran away. The number of girls reaching over 200 went down to barely hundred. Jon too could symphatize, he was acting calm about all of this only because of a skill, not will power.

Jon nodded and motioned for her to continue her, "As we got here, some people had already thought of it apparently. But there was still a lot to do, so we all settled first.

Afterwards, we checked for foods and provisions and surprisingly, it was even in excess. We then went down to the clinic underground and brought all the necessities."

"So, most of the issues were solved?" Jon asked, "Yes, however, that was the problem." She pointed out. "You see, immediately the clinic was cleared, a heavy rain began. And a storm occured thereafter, so everyone was trapped here.

At this point, everything that had happened since the previous day dawned on them." It was obvious what she was going to say afterwards. People cried and screamed trying to ask whoever for answers.

"Some people stepped up saying they could survive outside and they should be given supplies, it was obviously denied. Then a riot began, it was then a group named 'Krad' appeared."

"Krad?, As in that Krad?" Jon had heard of the group before and he sometimes saw Joe-his roommate meeting with them.

"Yes, but they came with their own problem. That the people with skills were meant to rule over others?" Cynthia looked disgusted as if remembering that conversation.

"However, Jenny and I were able to settle most of them."

She didn't stop there, she mentioned about the survivors who tried to commit suicide, the survivors who tried to bloom their dark minds.

"All this in just one day?" Jon was honestly astonished by the rapid escalation of events. He was getting uneasy about his roommates.

"Yes, and with the weather being what it is, we can't leave right now. Thankfully, it's peaceful now." Cynthia replied.

"Haa..." the situation was settled now, so he didn't need to really do anything."I know you and Jenny have been taking turns looking after me, so thank you," he said bowing a little to her.

Cynthie nodded before Jon continued, "Oh, right. Do you have anything you can trade for this?" pulling out the 'Lilith's Dress' he had previously acquired, he showed her.

"Hmm…no, but I'll accept it as a thank you instead," Cynthia said, her eyes widening at the sight of the treasure.

Jon couldn't help but feel amused by her boldness. But he handed it to her, saying, "You owe me."

Cynthia accepted it with a smile, seemingly unbothered by his comment. It was the first time he had seen her smile that way, though they hadn't spent so long together.

Jon then got up from the bed and headed out in search of his roommates. Although he had formed connections with Cynthia and Jenny through their shared experiences, his true friendship was with his roommates. Finding them was his priority now. And from what he knew, they were out of the room when it happened.

So if they survived, they should most like he here. The cafeteria was enormous, divided into five sections and designed to accommodate around 6,000 people.

And, with approximately 2,000;students currently present, it was quite spacious. 'A lot of people are missing.' he couldn't help but hope his friends were among.

But still finding just two individuals could be challenging. However, with the skill called 'Moon Gaze' it could be helpful. By visualizing his intentions through moon energy, he could locate his roommates.

Activating the skill, Jon's eyes glowed light blue as he scanned the room. Despite the curiosity of onlookers, he focused on his search. Soon, he spotted familiar characteristics—light skin and curly hair. It could only be Alex.

As he moved toward that direction in excitement, whispers filled the air.

"Hey, do you know where he's going?"

"Yeah, how could he not know?"

"Does he want to die?"

But it was as if he couldn't hear them and approached the area before he was stopped by two students. "Hey, do you know where you're going?" one of them shouted as they moved towards him. Jon, preoccupied with his thoughts ignored them.

Using his skill, Jon's eyes glowed light blue again, freezing the two students in their tracks. They were students that hadn't even gotten skills, so it was easy. He just walked past them silently, drawing the attention of others in the process.

He soon reached Alex, or rather, what he thought was Alex. Sitting on the floor, holding his knees, and with his head bowed, was a girl instead.

Jon tapped her and she shook as she raised her head to see him, he realized it was actually Alexa, Alex's twin sister. Alexa was the person Alex had been trying to keep away from their roommate,Joe.

Jon had met her and she was fun and easy to approach. But, why was she here, crying and where was Alex. And from her torn clothes, he wasn't even liking what he was seeing at all. He could tell something had happened without asking.

And the next word was like a bomb.

Her voice trembled as she spoke, "J-Jon, it's you. Alex—Alex is dead."
