The mountains of snow, Himalayas lies in the Asian continent. A long array running like a wall on a great length. Himalaya is a sacred place for Hindus. Thousand of beliefs are there, to reason the spirituality of those mountains.
The high lands of Himalayas are always covered with tall green trees, breathing in the long lines of smoky white clouds.
Paul has read it all about Himalayas because he always wanted to visit Himalayas for once in his life. Paul; was working at a software house in the city of New york.
"Hello Paul, Christmas holidays are about to come."
Said Aaron to Paul.
"Thank God, they are coming. I wanted them badly."
Aaron continued,
"Where are you planning to go this year, Mr. Wanderer?"
Paul looked into his laptop's screen with a smile and replied,
"Himalayas!"
Paul didn't have to struggle much for travelling to the pretty mountains of Himalayas. He knew a famous state of India, Himanchal pradesh. The state was walled with the snowy mounts in that winter and that was the place, Paul has decided to travel to.
Days passed swiftly, and Christmas holidays have arrived. Paul has packed up already from the beginning of December and on his very first Holiday, he was supposed to take his flight in night at sharp 3 o' clock. Paul cpuldn't sleep during flighys, so he decided to sleep for a bit before going to Airport. But the dream of a devilishly beautiful woman walking with her bare feet on the land of Himalayas who suddenly turned into blood drops made him awake so soon.
"Oh its just a dream." He said to himself. He stood up. He was sweaty in winters but he made himself a cup of coffee.
He looked on the clock, and it was still 3 hours to his flight. Paul started to watch the ticking of clock and drank his coffee. Time passed, and he picked his luggage, called a taxi and left for the airport. He can't wait to leave for India. When he reached airport, he saw that the airport was full of people. Everyone around him, was going somewhere to celebrate the Christmas eve. Paul was living alone in New York. He had no relatives and Aaron was his only friend. Paul has always spent his holidays in travelling to places and he has travelled to many places but there was something enticing about Himalayas; more than any other place.
It was now 3 o' clock and passengers were setting in the air plane. Paul found his seat. He sat down comfortably and took out his phone to saw the picture of Himalayas. It was a hundredth time, in the same night that he was looking at the picture.
"I am coming to discover your demons, Dear Himalayas!"
The plane took off a little late that day or may be Paul was so restive about reaching soon. He looked out from the window but it was all black, plane was moving in trembling manner. It was because it was stormy out side.
The flight was supposed to land at Delhi.
It landed after 17 hours. Smith was relieved as this sccumbbed his ennui but there was more of it. Paul had to take another 7 hour long drive to Simla.
He came out of the airport, and started to look around for a taxi.
"Sir, please come with me" a man in dusty white shirt, came to Paul. "I have a taxi." he said again. Paul was tired, he went with him as soon as he could. Paul asked him "Can you please drop me to this hotel"?
"Yes, its next to it!" The taxi dropped Paul. Paul was very tired. He get to his room and ordered a cup of coffee. He knew, he had to drive him self to Simla on his own tomorrow. He had to call car renting companies and he had to book a room, somwhere in Simla too.
"Finally all of the work has been done" said Paul to himself. Suddenly, the lights started to dim and at last went off. Paul tried to lit his lighter but he couldn't. Instantaneously, he began to hear a crying voice. That voice was coming from the bathroom. Paul voiced up and asked, "who's there?" But nobody replied and those sounds became louder. The cries were attractive. It seemed a woman is crying in dreadful pain.
Suddenly the door knocked, it knocked very loudly all at once and woke Paul up. Somebody was yelling on Paul.
"If you do not want coffee, why'd you ordered it. Please take it now. I am standing from 10 minutes."
Paul realized it was a dream again. Paul found him, very sweaty and felt agitated. His legs were aching. He looked his hands, and they were a lot red than usual. May be his heart was pumping his blood very quickly.
The voice came again,
"Take your coffee, you donkey!"
