Chapitre 4: A black cat crossed my path
"Alright, why don't you introduce yourselves?" Kakashi sat on railings and went back to his usual self.
"Hmm, what do you mean by introduce ourselves? Obviously, you don't mean our names, so mind explaining a little more?" Sasuke had his hands crossed over each other as he stared at Kakashi with disinterest.
"Hmm, things you like, things you hate, your dreams for the future, hobbies, things like that." Kakashi spoke calmly, almost lazily.
"Why don't you tell us stuff first? I mean before we talk, tell us about you, so we can see how it works" Naruto spoke, Sasuke and Kiyomi gave him speechless stares as if asking "Are you really that dim-witted?" The Chunin level Genin's shook their heads, completely speechless and focused on Kakashi's next words.
'I am sorry Sensei... It would seem that Naruto takes after his mother...' Kakashi kept a cool face, but inwardly he was just as speechless as the rising stars.
"Me? I'm Kakashi Hatake. Things I like and things I hate? I don't feel like telling you that." Kakashi smiled when Kiyomi gave a quiet chuckle.
"Huh?" Naruto became confused.
"My dreams for the future... Never really thought about it until recently. As for my hobbies... I have a lot of hobbies, some that I share with Kiyomi." Kakashi wanted to laugh at the constipated expression of Naruto's while Sasuke rolled his eyes before going back to reading a Manga that Kiyomi created a while back called The Ancient Magus' Bride.
"Alright, you first the one on the right." Kakashi already knew everything but might as well make his Sensei's kid feel included.
"Believe it! I'm Naruto Uzumaki!" Kiyomi and Sasuke tuned everything out when their new teammate started a long-winded speech about ramen of all things. Kiyomi started reading Garden of Lilies while Sasuke went back to reading his Manga.
"Alright next.... Kiyomi... Kiyomi!" Kakashi had twitching lips behind his mask when he saw that she was very absorbed with the smut novel.
"Ah, right... Hmm... Things I like... Books and Manga... Things I hate? Hmm, that's a tough one I'd have to say... Spider webs... They are very annoying. My dreams for the future? World peace... As for hobbies? Hmm... I have lots of hobbies..." Kiyomi's speech was better than Kakashi's, but not by much.
"Last one." Kakashi already expected the answer, seeing as how Kiyomi has been hanging around at the Hatake mansion whenever it gets dark out, she would wait for Tsume to come over and pick her up... Kiyomi was bound to pick up some things from him. Kakashi nodded to Sasuke to let him speak now.
"My name... Sasuke Uchiha... I hate only one thing and I like lots of things. My dream? To become powerful to accomplish my second dream." Kiyomi's inclusion into the Universe made Sasuke mellow out. The darkness in his heart is completely gone but he still will kill Itachi, but he isn't hyper-focused on it, and is fine with waiting a decade or two. Kiyomi pretty much fixed him... Not out of romantic feelings, but because she doesn't like the hurt puppy look, he had... And they became best friends.
"Oh, before I forget! Here ya go!" Kiyomi tossed the first volume of Strawberry Panic to Kakashi, and he started reading it right away noticing it's a manga that's been all the rage these days and after tens of pages he put a hand over his mouth with a blush.
"This is a treasure! Who wrote it?" Kakashi snaps it closed and looked intently at Kiyomi.
"I did. That's the first volume I'm currently working on the second. By the way that's the very first book that has been perfected right off the assembly line... Lucky you!" Kakashi gasped as he looked at the Manga and when he heard that he was the first person to get his hands on the book he asked for an autograph, and it said [For my very first fan ~PULSE Sensei].
~Gasp~ "Your PULSE-Sensei!? When will the volume 3 of Pulse come out!?" Kakashi grabbed Kiyomi by the shoulders and shook her back and forth, making her dizzy.
"It's almost finished..." Kiyomi shook her head and gave a cramped smile.
'Ratana Satis-Sama... Your works have major fans even in a different world! Your work truly transcends time and space!' Kiyomi recalled her first life and how she was obsessed with Yuri anime and their pure love. She always wished she had a girlfriend like that!
"When is almost!?" Kakashi was freaking out.
"In about four days... Missions might hamper it, but 4 days is the maximum you'll have to wait... It's already being printed en masse, and you just have to wait for it to be in stores." Kiyomi had an awkward smile.
"I also like Devil to Medical Kunoichi... To think someone so young is so expressive! You must be protected at all costs!" Kakashi was in a state of hysteria.
/// Morning the next day at 5 AM
"..." Kiyomi was the first to arrive and glanced at Kakashi's hiding spot, who put a finger to his mask and shhed. Only she could see him, and only she could hear him. Kiyomi gave a thumbs up with a nod. The other two arrive and Kiyomi offered a coffee to Sasuke.
"Thanks, I really need this." Sasuke didn't like sweet things, so she only added milk to make it bearable, no sugar.
Two hours later.
"Hey you're late!" Naruto pointed at him, Sasuke and Kiyomi gave speechless faces to him since both of them knew that he was there. Kiyomi caught on the moment she arrived and thirty minutes after five with some coffee Sasuke also found him.
"Well, a black cat crossed my path, so I had to take the long way around." Kiyomi snickered and even Sasuke gave a quiet laugh. Kakashi grinned at the two stars and felt like he just got his dream team. One is his Sensei's kid, the other is like a mischievous little sister of his and the other is a genius with lightning style jutsu, which is his specialty.
