As the kid began to pull himself together, he wiped at his eyes, before he stared forward to Oliver, a firm resolute gaze on his face before he asked.
''Who are you?''
He rumbled in amusement before he pulled out another card, handing it over. ''Oliver Soko, King of the King's, owner of King's Bar, and Royal Orphanage. Basically, a criminal who's gotten permission from the police because he's done enough good things to let them look away from the bad. Aspiring bounty hunter, and the father to my beautiful daughter.'' When he flexed his index and thumb, the two holding the card.
The card slid to the side and a picture of a grinning Himiko slid into view from behind it, he did it too fluidly like he practices this.
The kid took both, staring at the card and examining the back of it before he then turned to the picture. His thoughts going to his own younger siblings before he smiled gently. ''She's cute, reminds me of my brothers and sisters.''
He then handed the picture back, however kept the card.
''Now that I've introduced myself, what's your name kid? The real one, not a made-up one.''
The kid flinched a bit at that, his plan having been seen through so easily.
"Toya.... Toya Todoroki..''
''Yodoroki? Ah, it's all making sense...''
He watched the kid, who seemed, ashamed of his last name? Though he could understand it, it seemed he found Toya right before he got serious, right before the stress happened, he still however had a few stray hairs that were stark white when compared to the wild crimson hair.
He watched the kid a moment before he spoke. ''You know, there is a way to help your siblings, to save your mother, and to even put your father in prison, or to get him the help he needs.''
Hearing this, the kid looked up, stars in his eyes, a way to help his family, and his father? He had been trying to take all the burden himself, away from his siblings.
"Let's go to your house, I'll have a talk with your father, and if I have to? I'll fight some sense into him, being as that seems all good the number 2 can do."
Toya nodded, before he stood up, causing Oliver to also stand, retrieving his discarded jacket and tie, he rolled down his sleeves and put on his suit and tie, need to look proper after all. He also got in touch with his friend in the police force, the Chief himself. 'Officer Woofs' as Himiko has come to call him.
He also called Ko and Roku, he would need to focus on training Roku more. The guy was pretty, pretty useful, and above all else? His quirk was some of the best to help him work with emotionally sensitive individuals. He let them know what was going on, he actually heard Aoi over the phone began to drill into Ko about coming along, but Oliver ordered the both of them to keep her there, and he gave them a damn good reason.
''I'm dealing with Number Two, a pro-hero Aoi. If he gets violent, I'll need to purely focus on him, and I trust the boys, but the guy can go supernova. I can't take the chance of you getting hurt Aoi. The guys have the training, and whereas I'm not against training you as well, right now you have a lot more than just your life on the line, you have a son on the way.''
She seemed irritated but understood. Hanging up on him, Oliver clicked his tongue, leave it to a woman who could hang up on him.
He was holding Toya's hand, it was easier to hold the kid's hand than Himiko's due to his height, but he could feel Toya's vice grip on his hand, like trying to make sure that Oliver was real, that everything was real.
Soon he was lead to a beautiful Japanese-style house, a large one. Oliver could smell something being cooked and Toya lead him to the kitchen. Just as Toya threw open the door, ready to face off against his father, he deflated a bit seeing it was his mother, who by the way? Total fucking beauty.
Wait no, that's not what Oliver needed to focus on right now. He sped forward, releasing Toya's hand and with a lot of force, punched forward, the force of it knocked the hot ass pot forward, creating a small vortex as he sucked the water in and into his own hand, his suit blowing apart due to the force of the punch. It was the hardest he had punched yet, and he could feel the strain on his muscle, along with the now burning sensation of the water on his flesh.
He had come in just as the mother was having her mental breakdown. Just as the pot was being poured over Shota.
It took a moment, but he saw the look of recognition flash through Rei's eyes as her eyes widened and she screamed. Not realizing what she was about to do before it was to late, only to see that Shota was fine, all be it surprised that a large arm, like his father's but more defined suddenly appeared, blocking the kettle and water. A hand pulling him back to the side of Oliver with his free hand.
Seeing her son fine, her worries instantly focused on the stranger, she began to generate ice before she was shocked out of her stupor by Oliver's strong voice, full of power, but warm and gentle, the pain not trickling into his voice. ''No! Using ice on a burn like this will make it far worse."
His arm flexed as he swiped it downwards away from them, letting the water spray off him and to the wall and counter, he could feel the burn already affecting him but he was fast enough to keep it to 1st-degree levels.
Pulling Rei by the apron away from the pot to make sure no one stepped in the water, an order from Oliver sent Toya forward on instinct. ''Toya, use your flames to dry the water.''
On instinct he nodded and stepped forward, his mom about warned him off until she saw the flame didn't come directly from his skin, but a few inches from it, and now that she was looking at her son, he looked far better than usual.
Finally, she turned to look at the tall stranger, her mouth still wide open.
His clothing began to fix itself, not caring to hide it as he smiled warmly to Rei before he spoke. ''My name is Oliver Soko, I've been sent by the police to check in on this household and grounds of marital abuse, parental abuse, and other worse charges."
He watched her rapidly change, pulling her forward he hugged her, at first she flinched at his movement, wanting to push herself away, but staying firm in it, soon she melted, she didn't make any noise, but Oliver could see the tears in her eyes.
It was around this time a voice filled with self righteousness spoke out. ''What's going on here?
(Should I add Rei to the harem? Think about it with your top heads, not your lower heads, horny bastards.)
