Inside the mind of Michael, a beat down was happening.
*Insert here punching and kicking sounds*
"You bastard! Stop it! Wait!"
For the thirtieth time, Michael gets tackled to the ground and pummeled non-stop like a training dummy.
"No, fuck you."
'Even though it's not my physical body why the hell does it still hurt?'
"Can we not just talk it out?"
"Do you even hear yourself?!"
"Try imagining someone takes over your body overnight and you can never feel the touch of the love of your life! But you can't because you've never loved someone real! All you ever did was fantasize about fucking cartoons! You can't ever hope to understand!"
The Michael of the jujutsu world stops beating the Michael who took over his body.
"I'm sorry."
...
'Though I don't think it's my fault at all, I do feel sorry for him.'
...
Silence....
One Michael did not know what to say. The other breaks down even more inside.
All of a sudden an idea pops up in one Michael.
"Is it not possible to switch whoever is controlling the body?"
"Are you kidding? Are you not scared once I take control that I'll never give it back?"
"Do you wanna see her again or not?
...
...
"Her name... its Leah."
"I know. I have your memories remember?"
'And you have mine too I'm guessing.'
"Here's how we're gonna do this..."
Inside the body of Michael, he has met the previous owner of his current body. Their memories, bodies and abilities combined yet their souls are still separate entities from each other.
A binding vow no one will ever know was formed on the day they met.
Its effects impossible to measure even for those bonded by it.
On an infirmary bed inside Jujutsu High, Michael finally wakes up.
He looks around hoping to see his usual apartment, hoping that it was all just a dream. Instead he sees what looks like the infirmary of Jujutsu High. A sigh escapes his lips, cementing the realization that his life has forever changed.
Minutes go by and multiple thoughts run through Michael's head. Another person's thoughts residing within as well.
Mieul impatiently says, 'are you just gonna sit there forever or what?'
Footsteps sound from outside and the door creaks as it opens.
A woman walks through the door wearing a white lab coat. Heavy eye bags linger under her eyes and black hair cover her head running down to her shoulders, the doctor of Jujutsu High, Shoko Ieiri. The one born with innate jujutsu technique to heal others.
"That was faster than I thought, wait here I'll go call someone."
Just as fast as she entered the room, she exits the door a second after, without even giving Michael a chance to talk.
'Mieul, do you think we should we tell them?'
Earlier in the mind scape...
"We can't keep calling each other Michael, it's confusing as hell."
"Then Mieul, it's the nickname she gave me."
"What?"
"You can call me Mieul from now on."
"Okay Mieul, nice to finally meet you?"
Out of nowhere Mieul punches Michael in the jaw.
"Guahhh"
"Bastard! why'd you punch me?"
"Your face pissed me off."
Back to the present...
'Uhh I don't know. Both options have its pros and cons. The question is, how much do you trust that anime you watched or that manga you read? are you sure this is the exact world and not a different one?
Michael is unable to answer.
...
The door opens again and this time the doctor is accompanied by Gojo and Fushiguro. Gojo seems his usual carefree self but Michael notices that Fushiguro looks worn out, like he is recovering... the date of June 2018 plastered in front of Mieul's phone flashes by his memory.
'It's the start of the timeline of the story. He must have just got back from when Sukuna incarnated into Yuji's body.'
At the same time, the date of October 31st and the event that could possibly occur in Shibuya resurfaces in his mind.
"Hey Michael-kun before anything else, this guy here has something to say" said Gojo, pointing to the guy standing beside him.
Being taken out of his thought process, Michael looks at Gojo then at Fushiguro.
"I apologize for the misunderstanding. Now please excuse me."
'That's it?'
Seeing Michael making a face, Gojo comments, "it's already great that he apologized, it couldn't be helped at the time either."
The door is closed again after Fushiguro leaves, a smile never leaving Gojo's face.
"He's a little haughty but he's a good guy, you'll make good friends soon enough once you get to know each other."
"Anyway, to serious business, ask away. I'll answer anything and everything."
A tense atmosphere emerges inside the room as Gojo finished. The sorcerer expecting a barrage of questions coming from Michael. Shoko sits in a chair indifferent to the atmosphere, Michael is stumped to why she's still in the room..
"Uhhhh...."
...
...
...
...
"Can I get some food? I'm starving."
"Hahahahaha, Michael-kun you're hilarious."
"I really am hungry though."
"Alright I'll get you something..."
After an hour of waiting and Michael eating the pepperoni pizza Gojo ordered him. The two finally entered a seriously serious conversation about the events that happened on that one morning at Michael's apartment.
Unexpectedly, the first question that Michael asked is not about his ability or the fact that tens of curses are attracted to him, it is the number of people that died that day. The guilt and responsibility he feels cannot be covered by the fantastical circumstances he is currently in.
"Twenty-two people dead and forty-one injured."
The exact toll finally revealed to him, his chest tightens and his hands grip the sheets that cover him.
Due to Michael's reaction, Gojo now firmly believes that he has not made a mistake.
The current strongest sorcerer moved an inch closer to Michael at the time when he was about to faint after exhausting his body, knowing full well that Michael's jujutsu has the ability to replicate a limited amount of abilities, contained within the cursed energy he absorbs.
The distance enough for Michael's jujutsu to capture a wisp of his energy. Thus leading to Michael possessing not only the shikigami jujutsu of Fushiguro but also the Six Eyes jujutsu. Michael does not have the ability to replicate every single ability his jujutsu absorbs. These techniques inside Michael are not exact replicas of their originals as well.
The two jujutsus mentioned and including a string-like ability that Michael unknowingly absorbed from the cursed spirit from his apartment, for a total of three.
In reality, only a single jujutsu can be replicated and stored in each soul. In Michael's circumstance, there are two souls residing in his body, the third only being possible due to the formed link between the two souls. A nonliteral bridge hosting the final ability.
If not for this limiting factor, Michael would not consume only one of Satoru Gojo's jujutsus but the both of them...
Remember, most if not all confusing aspects of the story is fully explained in later chapters.
But I do still appreaciate comments. Let me know what you guys thinking!
