52.54% JJK: The Greatest Fraud In History[Dropped.] / Chapter 31: Nah, Yuji'd Win.

Chapitre 31: Nah, Yuji'd Win.

Amid the chaos, Principal Yaga has Gojo in a wrestling hold, effectively using an armbar to enforce discipline. "I hope you understand the seriousness of the situation now, Gojo," Yaga says, his voice steady. "Let's focus on the rules of the Kyoto Sister School Goodwill Event."

As Gojo grins sheepishly, Principal Yaga explains, "This year, our first event will be the Team Battle Spirit Bash Race. Both Tokyo and Kyoto teams will compete to exorcise a grade 2 spirit and all other lower-grade cursed spirits within the designated area. The team that clears the area first will be declared the winner."

The Tokyo Team gathers for a meeting in their common room. The mood is tense as Nobara, still upset about Yuji's disappearance, punishes him with a mockingly fierce glare. "You had us all worried," she scolds him. "You should've let us know you were alive."

Panda and Toge step in to defend Yuji, each in their unique way. Panda, ever the optimist, adds, "Come on, Nobara. Yuji's been through a lot. We should be happy he's back."

Toge, speaking in his usual limited manner to avoid cursing, adds, "Bonito. Fish Flakes.."

Yuji looks at them in confusion, noting their quirks. "Wait, why does Toge talk like that?" he asks.

Megumi explains, "Toge limits his vocabulary to prevent cursing people by accident. It's a bit of a habit."

Just as the mood seems to settle, Maki, with a fierce look in her eyes, demands, "Where's Slaughter Demon?"

Yuji hesitates, his nervousness palpable. "Uh, I broke it during the fight with the cursed spirit. I thought I told you—"

Maki's eyes narrow, her frustration evident. "You didn't say anything about it being broken!"

Yuji, feeling the pressure, stammers, "Actually, I think Gojo-sensei still has it. Maybe he can fix it?"

Maki's annoyance grows, and she mutters under her breath, "Unbelievable."

As the team prepares for the upcoming event, Yuji remains on edge, trying to navigate the complicated dynamics of his friends and their peculiarities.

In the Tokyo Team meeting, the second-years, Maki, Panda, and Toge, gather around Yuji, curiosity evident on their faces. They're eager to assess Yuji's abilities to better plan their strategies for the upcoming competition.

"Alright, Yuji," Maki begins, "let's hear what you've got. What can you do?"

Yuji, feeling the weight of their scrutiny, starts to explain, "Well, I can use Divergent Fist, which—"

Megumi cuts him off with a nod. "I've seen him in action. If it comes down to a straight-up fight without cursed energy, Yuji'd win. He's surprisingly strong."

The second-year exchange surprised looks. Maki raises an eyebrow, clearly impressed but skeptical. "You fought Aoi before, right? If you say Yuji's that strong, I guess we should take it seriously."

As the conversation winds down, the Kyoto Team convenes for their meeting. Principal Gakuganji addresses his students with an intense glare. "Your primary objective is to kill Sukuna's vessel. We must ensure he cannot be resurrected. Use your cursed energy to finish him off."

Aoi, visibly disinterested, gets up to leave. Noritoshi, noticing his behavior, calls out, "Aoi, wait. We need to discuss—"

Aoi interrupts, his voice cold and dismissive. "I don't care about your schemes or your taste in women. I'm leaving."

He turns to face Principal Gakuganji and the rest of the team, his demeanor menacing. "If anyone tries to boss me around or messes with me, I'll kill them. Simple as that."

As Aoi walks out, he says, "I won't kill someone just because someone told me to. There's got to be more to it than just following orders."

...

As the Kyoto Team strategizes, the tension is palpable. Momo, Mai, and Kasumi huddle together, discussing their approach.

Momo voices her concern. "We should be careful about attacking Yuji while Toge is with him. His cursed speech could incapacitate us all in one go."

Mai, her gaze sharp, adds, "I agree. Plus, we don't know exactly how strong Yuji has become. It's risky to engage him directly with Toge around."

Noritoshi, however, remains resolute. "We need to focus on taking Yuji out completely. He's the biggest threat. If we can neutralize him, the rest will fall into place."

Momo and Mai exchange glances, but it's Kasumi who speaks up next. "Noritoshi, what's the plan for dealing with Toge? We can't just ignore him."

Noritoshi smirks, a hint of strategy in his eyes. "I have a way to handle Toge. Don't worry about that. We'll deal with him effectively."

Mai, growing impatient, turns to Noritoshi. "And what about Maki and Nobara? I want to take them on."

Noritoshi raises an eyebrow. "You're starting to sound a lot like Aoi. Be careful not to let your grudges cloud your judgment."

...

In the aftermath of the meetings, Gojo and Utahime's conversation about a potential traitor takes a turn. Utahime, initially calm, becomes incensed by Gojo's remark about her weakness. "I can't believe you would say that! Just because I'm not as strong as you doesn't mean I'm incapable of loyalty!"

Gojo, unfazed, raises an eyebrow. "You're right. I was just being honest. But if it helps, you're not the one I'm worried about."

Utahime, still fuming, storms off, her frustration evident. The conversation leaves a lingering tension in the air as Gojo watches her leave.

Meanwhile, Megumi seeks out Yuji for a more personal talk. He approaches Yuji, sensing that something deeper is troubling him. "You seem like you've been through a lot lately. I can tell it's not all as okay as you're making it seem."

Yuji, with a somber expression, nods. "Yeah, Junpei's death… it hit me hard. But I'm determined not to lose again. I can't let it happen."1

Megumi, understanding the weight of Yuji's words, agrees. "I feel the same. I don't want to experience loss either."

As they speak, Nobara joins in with a touch of her usual bravado. "Well, Megumi got beaten up recently, but we'll handle the other team. I'm cleaning up the competition."

Maki, who overhears Nobara's comment, chides her. "Knock it off, Nobara. We've got a competition to focus on."

Panda and Toge nod in agreement, showing their support for Maki's reminder. Yuji, motivated by his team's camaraderie and resolve, rallies them with a determined voice. "Let's go out there and win. We can't afford to lose."

Maki, however, is less impressed with Yuji's attempt to lead. "Don't get carried away trying to take charge, Yuji. We're a team. We need to work together."

The group, despite their banter and varying levels of enthusiasm, readies themselves for the upcoming competition. Their shared goal of victory unites them, each member bringing their strengths to the forefront as they prepare for the challenge ahead.

[Auther: Goodness, this is so boring....]

  1. Yuji hasn't been informed of Junpei and he's assumed, that Junpei died. Of course, Junpei and his mom are fine, just left for later.
