CLANG CLANG CLANG
The echo of metal being clashed together reverberated in the forest.
"Hmph.", Someone grunted.
A certain person - who was wrapped in a blue cloak - was battling many monsters of Grimm.
GRAAAAWR
A bear-type Grimm attacked the cloaked person, who then took his longsword out if his cloak and deflected the strike.
GRAAWWWWR
The Grimm let out another warcry, however this didn't bother the cloaked man. The cloaked man rolled over to the Grimm's side while lodging his sword in its neck, he then proceeded to pull his sword around while moving.
Another monster of Grimm attacked the cloaked person's back, however suddenly the cloaked person's sword transformed into a gun and he shot a bullet behind himself. The bullet pierced the Grimm.
"Hmph.", The blue cloaked person grunted once more, as he flipped into the air and readied his gun towards the remaining targets.
BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG
Each bullet killed at least two Grimm - some killed more - and while this happened, the cloaked figure landed onto the ground once more.
The cloaked figure - Arno - scouted his surroundings to inspect if there were any presences left.
"Haa...", Arno sighed, as he noticed that there were no more targets.
'Looks like there won't be any more chances to gain any more battle experience in this area.', Arno thought as he headed towards the village that the Grimm attacked.
The citizens had numerous expressions - reverence, gratitude, excitement - however this didn't effect Arno in the slightest as he walked past them.
Just as a village chief came to Arno to thank him, Arno stated:
"Don't worry about it.", As he headed towards the village's bar.
Arno entered the bar and sat down on a chair.
"Milk please.", He asked the bartender while leaving more lien - this world's currency - than necessary.
"Coming right up.", He stated while noticing that Arno paid more money than initially needed.
While Arno waited for his order to arrive he started to get his thoughts in order.
'So it's been 1 and and a half month since I left the Marielle Household's care, in search for more battle experience with both Grimm and humans.', He thought while also adding 'Afterall, super-powered humans are hard to come by and mostly "fully-bodied exo-suit criminals" come to mind when I think of "super-powered".'
CLACLINK
Arno picked up the glass and took a few gulps before placing his glass on the counter.
'A week after I had my spar with Mara I decided to leave their care and head out to gain more experience, and the best place to get experience?', Arno questioned 'It's obviously in villages attacked by both Grimm and bandits.'
Arno turned towards the bartender and asked him a question.
"What's word on the street?", Arno asked him while once again gulping another mouthful of milk.
The bartender looked at Arno and answered his question.
"Word on the street is that there's a certain blue-cloaked fellow going around attacking bandits and Grimm, sound familiar?", He stated while slightly grinning.
Arno finished his glass of milk and ordered for more, while still leaving more money than needed.
CLACLINK
Arno took a mouthful of the glass and asked him again.
"Anything else?", He inquired to which the bartender replied in kind.
"Apparently there's a new technological company which doesn't rely on dust called the 'Sapphire Company'.", He stated while seemingly intrigued.
'So It seems that Ardis is doing his part.', Arno grinned slightly while drinking another mouthful of milk.
"That and apparently, A bunch of bandits took over a village somewhere near the north of here.", He answered while rubbing clean a glass.
'North, huh?', Arno questioned 'I'm on my way there anyway.'
Arno finished his glass of milk while heading outside.
"Keep the change."
Arno exited the bar and headed outside towards the village. He then proceeded to tap his bracelet, which for some reason launched out a motorcycle that used to be used from thousands of years ago. It's the best he could make, from the times he bought materials from different companies, while also going around to travel.
Arno hopped onto his motorcycle and turned on the engine, he then proceeded to twist the handles and sped towards the north.
Arno spent awhile driving his motorcycle and while he was heading towards his destination he noticed something.
There were two girls who finished off monsters of the Grimm, while a blond haired man oversaw them.
They noticed Arno and gave him a wave which he returned back. For some reason though, the younger of the two girls seemed especially ecstatic - as if she met Arno before - Arno thought about it briefly but decided to just continue onwards to his destination.
While Arno continued to his destination the trio he saw began a conversation that related to him.
"Hey dad, who was that?", The youngest - Ruby Rose - asked her father.
"Why, you interested?", The blonde - Yang Xiao Long - teased her little sister.
"N-no! I'm just curious?", Ruby waved while flustered.
"Hmm...", Yang gave her little sister a questioning glare but then noticed that her father was in a thinking pose.
"He's probably the 'Blue Engima'.", Their father -Taiyang Xiao Long - answered which left his daughters curious.
"The Blue Enigma?", Both daughters questioned.
"Hmm, yeah. It's supposed to be some cloaked kid fighting Grimm and bandits for absolutely no reason, hence the 'Enigma' and they also added 'Blue' because he wears a blue cloak.", Taiyang explained.
Both kids seemed excited, but for different reasons.
"That's so cool~ so he's like a hero?", Ruby asked.
"I wonder what it would be like to fight him?", Yang grinned.
Taiyang answered both of his daughters.
"Ruby yes, he is like a hero to some.", He then turned to Yang "You should ask him for a spar when you meet each other again."
Yang gave a affirmative remark but Ruby questioned her father.
"Some?", She tilted her head which made Taiyang pet her head.
"Yep, some. His enemies think of him as a walking disaster.", Taiyang clarified.
"That's like, super duper cool!", Ruby became excited.
While Taiyang and his daughters finished discussing about 'The Blue Enigma', Arno - the person in question - finally arrived at his destination.
CLACLICK
Arno got off his motorcycle and sucked it back into his bracelet's storage room.
He then turned his eyes towards the village which had been captured by bandits. Yes captured. Looks like the villagers had been captured because the bandits seem to... be readying an experiment of sorts?
Arno sighed and donned one thought.
'No survivors.'
