Hades might not be the most powerful among the gods, but he certainly has his wits about him.

Perhaps it's his cleverness that makes William rather fond of him.

Though he'd never admit it, Hades and he are somewhat alike.

Hades knows exactly when to do what.

At least when it's time to take responsibility, he never falters. After all, taking responsibility won't kill anyone,instead, it might even win William's favor.

Like that time he tricked the archangel Amenadiel, some people thought he was a schemer.

But he doesn't care!

What others think of him doesn't matter,what matters is how William sees him. As long as William thinks well of him, everything is negotiable.

Sure enough, after Hades got beaten up, Alice also cooled down.

She wasn't a petty person to begin with. With Hades being the King of the Underworld, and having been beaten by William, what more could she want?
