Chapitre 68: Chapter 68: Back to the future
Bulma is awake now, everyone is happy for her until they noticed the change in the weather
Everyone thought that maybe Black Goku has appeared again, but they were wrong as they sensed a huge amount of Ki which belongs to Vegeta.
And this, current, amount of Ki has far surpassed the amount of Ki they all sensed which Vegeta showed during the battle against Hit
Everyone is worried about Vegeta, Future Trunks wanted to leave but he was stopped by Goku as he believed that things may go the wrong way because Vegeta's Ki is abnormal right now
Thus, Goku decides to meet Vegeta himself
Using the Instant Movement Skill, Goku appears near Vegeta and the moment he looked at Vegeta, his eyes go wide as he couldn't believe what he is seeing right now.
In front of his eyes, Vegeta has one more time transformed into the SSJ Majestic form BUT
But as compared to the old time, this new SSJ Majestic form is different as there is no longer any purple flames around him.
And also, Vegeta has a new look.
*THUNDER*
With thunder striking the sky, Vegeta stood in silence as his body started to adapt to his new form.
Just like in SSJ 4 form, Vegeta now has body hair all over him and his hair has also grown really long and thick.
His body hair color is completely purple and just like in SSJ 4 form, he doesn't have any armor above his chest and the main clothing is below his waist
There are a total of 3 black colored sashes around Vegeta's waist- one is on the right side, another one is on the left side and the last one is on the backside.
His pants have completely changed to black color and there is a layer of armor below his knees, covering his foot.
Vegeta's gloves on both of his hands have also changed into black platted armored gloves that go all the way to the elbow.
And these armors, on the leg and on the hands, have a green layer of strips at the edge of it.
As for the eyes, Vegeta has not opened them yet so no one knows what changes are there in his eye color.
Vegeta's current power is 6 sextillion.
*Heavy breathing noise*
"Gulp-
Vegeta, are you alright-
!!
VEGETA!"
Suddenly, their power level of Vegeta disappears in an instant and the new form also breaks apart, causing Vegeta to fall down into an unconscious state
Goku shouts and goes to catch him
*WHOOSH*
"VEGETA!!!
Are you alright?!
VEGETA!!"
While holding Vegeta, Goku calls his name but no response is shown by Vegeta
Goku few more time calls Vegeta and then he decides to take him back home.
Night time-
*EYES OPEN*
"where am i?"
"Dear!"
"Father"
"Father"
Bulma, Trunks, and Future Trunks, all three of them gave a tight hug to Vegeta the very next second when Vegeta woke up.
"you all…"
Vegeta looked at everyone, except his family, there is no one else in the room right now.
Seeing his family getting worried about him, Vegeta is reminded of his own family back on earth. It made him somewhat emotional and then he looked at Bulma's sad face
"WAAAH
Do you know just how much worried I was about you?!
You Idiot!
Thinking about leaving me behind!"
Bulma is being Bulma, she is the one who is the loudest among all and acted like a little kid as she tightly wraps her hand around Vegeta's head.
Vegeta can tell that Bulma was really worried about him and this made him question his own emotions again, seeing her sad like this, he is one more time angry but he is still confused about himself.
"Will you all calm down now
I am alright
So give me some space"
Vegeta pushes everyone aside and finally, Bulma frees him and also tells him that everyone (Krillin, Raditz, Nappa, etc) else waiting outside the room.
Soon, everyone met Vegeta and asked about his health and then they all left him and Goku alone in the room as Vegeta asked to have a talk with Goku all by himself.
"You saw the change in me?"
"You remember that?
I thought you were unconscious"
"I was… but before I fell unconscious, I could see the change in me and knew that I am receiving a new form
So, what was it?"
Before having a mental breakdown, Vegeta remembers the beginning of a change in himself but what that change was, he doesn't know but he did sense Goku's Ki so his questions can be answered by Goku only.
Goku nods and starts telling him about the experience he had when he saw Vegeta's new form, which was the same as SSJ Majestic, but it was stronger than before and also, he told Vegeta about the new attire he had when he transformed
After telling him everything, Goku asks "Vegeta, is everything alright?"
Vegeta looks at Goku's worried expression and then gave a sad smile.
"What happened? Something wrong with my face?" Goku asks
The reason why Vegeta gave a sad smile is because when he fell unconscious, memories of the past emerged to him which also includes his moments on earth and on planet Vegeta.
Then he also sees the memories of the battle between him and Goku and what has happened so far.
How he became such a strong person and how he has achieved what real Vegeta always dreamed about but….
A question popped into his head
"Did you ever see these people as real living people?
Or all of this is just a game for you?"
This one question rang inside his head the whole time until he woke up and the moment, he saw Bulma's sad face, he got the answer to that question
And the answer is, No… he never saw these people as real living people.
He never tried to understand them
He knew that this world is a reality, but still… because he knew that he is the 2nd main character, he never took the life of others seriously.
He was just too focused on himself.
And, when did he even try to understand Bulma?
Vegeta looks at Goku, he said "Yes, everything is alright.
It's just that… thanks"
"!"
"Thanks for carrying me back"
Goku is shocked to hear words of gratitude from Vegeta, the same Vegeta who beats the shit out of him even if it's a game.
That same man is saying Thanks?
After the mental breakdown, Vegeta started questioning his own character and how he had lived so far.
There were times when he enjoyed his time with Goku yet he never showed his emotions as he thought that he should act like Vegeta
Do things this way or that way
And always thought that he will live through every problem because he has the 2nd main character tag on him but now
He wants to live in a way that will have his own character and also the wish of Real Vegeta.
As for Bulma, Vegeta will try to understand her feelings and then see if he wants to live with her or not
But for now, Vegeta wants to say thanks for looking after him when he fell unconscious and bringing him here.
"Hmm?
What the-" (Vegeta)
It has been a minute since Vegeta said Thanks, yet Goku gave back no reply, and when Vegeta looked at Goku and started laughing
'HAHAHA"
The reason why Vegeta is laughing is because Goku is petrified on his spot with his mouth all open.
Goku, for the first time, saw Vegeta giving a warm smile and also saying thanks- this sudden change in Vegeta shocked him so much that his mind stopped working for a minute.
After a minute, Goku finally gave a reaction
"Umm…
Quite shocking, but-
No worries hehe"
"hahaha yes, no worries"
Both of them smiled together and people outside who are ear dropping it are also shocked and happy.
Finally, everything calmed down and Vegeta told Bulma that he wants to understand her and would love to know her more.
Vegeta also said sorry to Future Trunk for failing to be a good husband and not protecting her.
Everything is calmed down and everyone is happy.
And so, the story moves forward
Whis and Beerus told Goku and Vegeta about the Time Ring and then they went to meet Zamasu
Though, it was only Goku who went with Whis and Beerus to meet Zamasu in the original timeline, but now, Vegeta also who is joining them.
The story went same, Goku had a fight with Zamasu and then everyone went back after their own investigation.
Vegeta didn't bother to fight Zamasu as of yet and then after returning home, in the next few days Bulma managed to restore the old-time capsule from Cell Saga and now Goku, Vegeta, and Future Trunks are ready to leave the place
After bidding their farewell and somehow managing themselves to fit inside a small space, the trio left to save the earth of an alternative future.
