Akatsuki Reminisces 8
I was in the cemetery. I was talking to everyone. But then came Makina and Death. Moreover, Death kissed me to kill me.
My first kiss. It certainly was sweet. And I am now in the god realm. Where every creator lives.
"Welcome, child of Makina." A big burly man said.
I guess he is a god.
"I am Azathoth, the void god. You are the child of Makina. That means you are a god as well. I have been entrusted with you."
His explanation seemed stiff. But I play along. Currently I am just a normal soul.
Even if I was a god, I was also a human. So I need time to get used to it. And he led me to his home.
I saw that he has a child.
"This is my daughter, Nyarlathotep. She was just born a few days ago." He said.

I was a god but my human self wouldn't vanish. So as a god, I was inferior.
And Nyaruko grew in the blink of an eye. But what was strange was another god.
Nebula is her name. She is Nyaruko's cousin.
But I feel like I know her. She gives me Sakura vibes.
But I didn't investigate. My days were going well. Until one day another incident happened.
I don't know if I was cursed or not but even after death, I am cursed.
I fell. Think of the god realm as a floating island. They have boundaries.
I fell down. I was told never to fall. Down below lives someone who is demonic.
And I fell. I don't know what happened after that.
When I gained my consciousness, Azathoth was there. And other gods as well.
All of them had a shocked look on their faces. So something happened, I guess.
"Welcome back, Akatsuki." Azathoth said.
Welcome back? Was I gone somewhere?
"What happened?" I asked him.
"Nothing much. Now let's go."
He clearly avoided my question. But I didn't ask anything.
When I came, I saw a girl at his place. Really young. And from the looks of it, she looks like his daughter.
"Hello there." I greet her.
"Hello." She greeted me back and that's that.
"Akatsuki, meet my daughter Nyarlathotep. Call her Nyaruko. Nyaruko, this is Akatsuki. He will be living with us for the time being."
Azathoth explained things in his boisterous voice.
And I started living with them. Occasionally, Nebula would come over.
But I know. Nebula is actually Sakura. But she doesn't have her human memories due to her evolution.
I am satisfied with that. It's not like I expected much. I am happy as long as she is happy.
And then the day came when we were supposed to become apprentice gods.
I declined. I don't have any godly powers or something like that. I am happy being a normal human.
I guess not normal. No normal human would be here. But I am far weaker than them.
Nebula is currently assigned to her father and Nyaruko is to her father.
I am just an extra living with them. I have been living rather peacefully.
But I am weak. Too weak compared to the others.
It didn't bother me. Not in the least. I just want to live in peace.
But on the day of Nebula's 7 billionth birthday, she confessed her feelings.
I was panicking. I was getting these strange episodes and my power increasing.
So I thought about training. I would have happily accepted her feelings.
I was too overjoyed. But I have to become worthy of her first.
And so, I decided to train. I left on a journey.
Which went on for a billion year.
I met many people, faced strange situations.
I was betrayed again and again. Maybe I don't have any talent in choosing humans.
And after finally mastering my powers I returned.
I absorbed something when I fell. That made me stronger.
And I completely accepted that. But when I returned, I heard something unbelievable.
I thought it was a joke. Nyaruko really likes to joke around.
But it wasn't that. It really happened. Nebula is dead.
I can't describe the anger I felt at that time.
And I exterminated everything. Every last of them was destroyed.
Completely destroyed so they can't even revive.
It went on for many great years. I don't even remember how I killed everyone.
After that, I left the god realm. I wanted to take Nebula with me.
Her soul that is. But her soul had already entered the line on reincarnation.
It should be better for her to start from scratch again.
So I left. I drifted into nothingness. Losing all sense of time and self.
But one day, mom came. She dragged me out of the null and beat me up.
Then she told me to create my own world. She even gave me your souls.
Even your souls, I built a world. Really similar to the old one.
But due to my extreme contradiction, I failed.
I created you guys to be the same. However, my hidden desires got mixed up with you.
