Chapitre 36: Disrupting The Chaos

With his fingers still pressed against the orb, he closed his eyes, shutting the overwhelming noise surrounding him out of his mind.

The once dying light within the orb slowly began to come back to life, swirling and fighting unseen forces that threatened to break out of the orb.

The charade of whirlwind slipped out, flapping his hair into fluttering paces and lifting the short skirts of the girls up to their inner thighs, forcing them to scream as they tried to hide their modesty.

"Kyaaah!"

First, the orb began to emanate a pulsing eerily with a blue light which folded with peebles of mists which began to form an illusion, searing and swarming about the orb as it took dominance.

The students squinted their eyes, wondering what was going on within the orb and why Ace's registration was taking an entirely different route from others.

This phenomenon continued, the colors within the orb changing from time to time. The blue light changed, the illusion forming within it taking a new form as the light changed. A black light in color of the soil shot out next, forcing another formation with an illusion.

This time, one could make out what was going on within the orb. The illusions shot a barrage of defensive rocks within the orb, giving light to what element was taking form within the orb.

As the intensity of the formation grew, slowly the immense mana searig within the orb began to seep out, causing the students to shift in their positions, flustered and surprised about the cause of the event.

The tide continued, their eyes glistering to the end as some tried to recall the number of colors that had shrouded out of the surface of the orb. Ace was still standing defiantly before the orb, his finger still silk pressed against its surface while his uniform fluttered with the wind.

A fierce yellow light shot out next, filling the whole orb to the brim and exuding a flame aura that completely overshadowed the surface of the orb from both the inside and the outer later.

From inside the walls of the orb, a rift began to tear open, the colossal illusions they had seen from the previous elements changing into something they could feel in existence trying to force its way into their world.

"Somebody stop that kid!"

Ace could feel the mana flow in his body double over its initial limit, he could feel Nyx breaking the chains of her soul space, etching a crack into the auditorium and with his inner sense, he could see her large eyes wander across the auditorium as it peered out of the rift.

"Is… is that a-a dragon?!"

"His summon is a dragon? Does that mean… the other elements…"

Soon, they all could feel a shift in the foundation of the auditorium as the immersive light force continued to heighten until Ace lifted his fingers from the cold surface of the orb.

After the tide had died down, giving view to all to read Ace's ability card, Erik finally made the pronouncement, a confirmation to clear the doubting souls of the students— undoubtedly, he himself was surprised as he read the results out.

"Ace Kiryū, ability: all four elements, ability rank: SSS-rank, summon- t-the celestial dragon(SSS-rank)."

For a moment, a surreal silence enveloped the whole auditorium, the students watching Ace with their eyes plastered with disbelief and their words hitched in their throats like heavy rocks.

But after a snap from a student, the whispering tones expressing their views swamped the whole auditorium, exchanging what they had seen and what tier this ability of Ace belonged to.

"It was really concerning that he has a surname when he's lived his whole life walls far behind district II."

"Never heard of before."

"The Kiryū clan— did they go extinct?"

"...or they were never in existence."

"Who is he then? How can he bear this power to himself? A new record?"

"Heard he's only seventeen and he's yet to undergo his final awakening at eighteen..."

"Already surpassed most of the instructors in the academy." One stuttered, his throat itching with disbelief as he spoke.

"A true genius!"

Erik knew he had to maintain the once orderly auditorium, but there was no possible way to suppress the awe-stricken kids with mere words as they would continue to voice out their opinion, disrupting the main purpose of the event.

As his mind clustered and crumbled with multiple thoughts on how to collect their attention back to himself, the large auditorium doors dragged open, revealing a notable collection of elders.

The entry of the heads of the academy drives a pause to the unending murmuring of the students, turning the auditorium into a silent graveyard within a matter of seconds.

Fear welled up in the hearts of some students, wondering why the heads of the academy were graving the talent registration ceremony with their presence. Perhaps, they had noticed a strange talent and couldn't sit back and watch.

"Things are getting serious." A girl whispered to her friend, clutching her arm tight.

With swift precision, the elders walked through towards the podium, their taoist robe, etched with a cloak, covering the skin up to their necks held an impeccable grace to their presence.

Finally, they arrived at the podium with Erik giving them all an angle ninety degree bow while stepping to the side.

He himself was wondering; 'Why have they come here?',

The presence of the leaders of the academy were like gods. After all, they were real prodigies whose abilities were unmatched as they were also one of the solid rocks behind the upholdment of the entire city.

The elders of the academy could only be summoned by the governor and their free-willed appearance elsewhere meant there was 'trouble' and this was the most possible assumption to their visit to the auditorium.

One of the elders stepped forward, raising his cloak off his face, revealing his identity to all. As Ace's eyes read the fabric of his reality, his eyes darkened a little, his fists hurling hard beside him.
