Tears pooled in Gemma's eyes as she stared at the door. She wished that Miguel would walk back in and tell her he doesn't a divorce and that they could make things work.

Is she pissed at him for not believing her when she told him that she didn't try to abort the baby? Yes. She is angry at him for several reasons, and she had threatened him with a divorce. She thought getting a divorce was what she wanted, but hearing those words come out of his mouth made her realize that isn't the solution that she think that she needed.

"He told you that he wanted a divorce?" Auntie Sophie asked her not believing it herself.

"That is what he said," Gemma replied her voice a tiny whisper.

Auntie Sophie came and sat down beside Gemma. "Miguel truly told you that he wants a divorce? I thought divorce isn't allowed in the familia?" She sounded confused.
