"This?!" Lacey suddenly stopped, her eyes widening in horrified shock. 

Ervin calmly looked on with an expectant gaze. Not to his surprise, a dense layer of a spine-chilling, ominous black mist engulfed the entire region of Lightwall City! 

The eerie black mist expanded on for hundreds if not thousands of miles. Even with the black mist making it hard to see anything, the dazzling lights of Mana were continually rippling out of the woods, the roars of ferocious Demonic Beast reverberated everywhere, and a stench of disgusting blood and gore permeated the atmosphere. 

"So, this is the Heavy Black Mist, huh?" Ervin causally said. 

The fact a magical phenomenon like this could happen was more interesting than how these people were dealing with it.
