Chapitre 112: It's... Overwhelmingly Sweet

Irked by Cain's choice to hold back from whatever he was about to say, I took my frustration out on the plastic lamination of the cup with my straw. Eventually, Cain grabs my wrist and whispered at me to stop as I narrowed my eyes at him instead.

"Then why don't you tell me! I'm behaving so childishly because of you!" I grumbled and attempted to stab the cup again, only to realise at the least second that Cain had placed his hand atop the shredded opening and I had stabbed the straw into his hand without holding back.

"Kuh—! Damn... Anyways, Darien. Calm down. I'll tell you later. It's not something I could keep secret—..." Cain trails off as he lifts his gaze to meet mine after wincing from the pain.

"Does... Does it hurt? I didn't... I didn't mean to..." I dropped the straw on the table sometime mid conversation as I reached out to cup his hand.
