Chapitre 394: Me or Her?

It was Henry's turn to be embarrassed. 

He knew precisely which day his mother was referring to, considering it was the only time she had ever been in the palace. He felt mortified that they had been caught. Despite looking down the hallway in both directions multiple times, they had still been caught. 

The princess knew he couldn't resist her. From the start, he knew he should be guarded in the palace, yet there he was, walking himself into a trap. 

"Don't you suppose you have something to tell me then?" Celia asked, crossing her thin arms over her chest. "Now you know, so I would like to know as well." 

Callum felt satisfied enough even though there were only a few words shared between them. He could sit back and enjoy how uncomfortable Henry was suddenly feeling - it reflected the way he had felt before. 

The younger knight's eyes dropped to the food sitting between his hands on the table and he gathered his thoughts.
