"Oh dear. I have warned you that being a duchess is not easy. Have I not? You should have taken a step back at that time." Meredith held the cup tightly and took a sip of the warm bitter liquid.

"Ah, here I thought that you had all forgotten about me after getting married. But you still remember the way I like my tea to be brewed." her eyes twinkled with joy as she stared back at Garry only to notice that he was smiling at his wife foolishly.
