"Your majesty, please visit the market even if it is for an hour. Please, I beg you." Elowen looked away. Her brows furrowed at the sheer number of maids who had come to convince her to visit the market. But she did not understand why?

There was no reason Lucas would take a decision without reason. And she did not want to humor him by playing tricks with him. He could go to hell for all she cared.

"Please your majesty. All of your dresses are out of fashion. What will you wear on the founding day of the empire?" pleaded the maids but Elowen paid them no attention. Her life was ruined, who cared for the dresses.

Her heart still burnt the way Cent had blackmailed her. Foolish man.. He only thought that he was giving her. He never realized she had given him her most precious thing.. Her life! Her face went red with rage and hatred and she threw the vase on the ground.

The maids flinched and took a step back but did not leave the room.
