Chapitre 94: Pent Up Frustration

She gulped. Could she speak truth to this man? If she would, would he tell her truth too?

She stared into his soulful eyes. They have always been so deep that she had felt she would be sucked by them.

Her heart beat erratically when he held her hands and pressed it.

"You thought that.."

".. that you are devoted to your wife and would not accept me well." She blurted out. In the end, she could not tell him that she knew about his relationship with the princess.

The woman was her sister in law but he was sleeping with her. Why would such a man speak truth to her?

"Is that the only reason?" He pressed. She could feel the sweat forming on his hands.

His eyes stared at her face frantically like a drowning person looking for the last straw. She felt burdened by that look.

He was the one who killed her. Why was she feeling guilty for his actions?
