Chapitre 426: Love Him

"I.. I did not mean it like that." Tears filled her eyes as she held his shirt between her fingers.

"Meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to my life. I knew from the start that I did not deserve you. Yet.. I pined for the love you showed me. I was greedy but now I am dependent on you. I can't imagine my life without you, Lucas. I will die without you." the girl sobbed with her eyes closed. Her voice was full of raw pain but Lucas was not what she expected him to be. 

Though the demon was not sure if Lucas would have cared about her emotions too, he caressed her cheeks. Wiped the tears off her face and hugged her back. The girl trembled in his arms and held him tightly, afraid that she would lose him forever.

"Oh Elene, you have been a kind and meek girl. You are perfectly the type I would have ever dreamt of, we could have been a perfect couple.. But.." he paused and she raised her head. Fear filling her eyes to the brim.
