Chapitre 358: A Threat To Life

The maids stopped at the door signaling Rowan to go in alone. He took a deep breath and opened the door.

The moment he entered, a large beast ran toward him. Rowan took a step back and pulled the knob but the door did not open. The large black beast was baring its teeth at him with a viscous glare and eyes full of hunger.

Rowan threaded back but the beast followed. Its eyes stilled on every action made by Rowan who gulped. 

He had a dagger but his body was shivering and he was not sure if he could take the beast. It was enormous or maybe not but for Rowan it was. He was prepared for a scolding, a beating or a push in the name of an accident. Even splashing hot tea on his face did not feel bad at this moment but this large cat? As if the beast was trained all his life for this moment. For instilling fear in his heart before ending his pathetic life.
